I apologize for the "Spam" comment. Of course you have a right to express your opinion. I just hate to see flame wars erupt.

I just had some 36mg atomic fireball... I feel better now... I have safely put my effeminate emotional side to rest.

Yes, I have a feminine side... and she is Hawt!

voltaire, seriously, step away from the computer.

If that seriously gets you that worked up, maybe it's time to take a break from the interweb.

I'd love to stay here and justify my OPINIONS to people that obviously are some sort of elitists that get in a tizzy when others opinions don't agree with their own, but I have work in the morning.

LOL @ all the irony!

I'm curious what made you think I was even in the least bit worked up and needed to take a break. Transference?

Edit: Just saw this comment, so I'll respond, then I'm done.

Didn't expect for voltaire or whoever the f he is to read so much into it and feel the need to add absolutely nothing to the original thread but to try and put me in my place. Jesus.
I read nothing into it - there wasn't much to read into it. My purpose for posting was to point out how much your comment and others were proving her right, when I had thought she was wrong. I thought the link to the thread that I provided would perhaps open some eyes. That was the contribution I was trying to make to this thread.

last post in this thread... I edited my posts prior... if you read the original post you will see that the OP does not deserve to have his thread turn into another issue thread...

original post incase you over looked it

EDIT AGAIN: if people who had issues like me... who want their complaints to be respected please respect an indiviuals right to open a thread of praise... and dont insult it as jeoulousy C. that is usually not the case

I would agree that the OP would not normally deserve to have a thread they start hi-jacked and turned into a issue thread. Not normally.

But I would point out that the OP titled the thread "The Bad Comments About PS Posted on This Forum". Now once the OP did that those who have issues and have posted about them almost have no choice but to respond to this thread with their issues. After all the title implies that the "Bad" comments are invalid or not true.

For the OP it is true that PS is wonderful and the V2 is wonderful.
It is also equally true that PS has a faulty product or faulty customer service for those who paid good money for one and still cannot get it to work correctly.

Had the OP simply titled the thread "I love my V2, or Great Job with Customer Service PS then I do not think you would have had a derailment.

Customer Service perception is very much in the eye of the person being served. I would not come out and say that PS has bad Customer Service as they have responded to my questions, they have offered to take a look at the unit, and once it was determined what the main problem was they offered to send me a replacement adapter (after I send the non working one back). I cannot say that is "bad" customer service.

But I can compare it to customer service received from other vendors, who responded faster, who made a actual phone call to me, who threw the part in a bag and shipped it straight out to me.

I can also compare the unit they are selling, to other units I own. If I have a unit that works all the time, and I have a unit that works intermittently it is well within my right and is good common sense to label the one reliable and the other faulty.

From reading all these threads it does appear that the forum can be rather hard on anyone who has a legitimate complaint. I do not really understand why that is. People start a business need to be strong enough to handle issues like this. If I go to work today and hear someone trashing Nissan and saying their vehicles are crap, I might mention that I have a Nissan that is coming up on 25 years and has been a great truck, if they then tell me their problems I would say you know that stinks, and you need to see the dealer and Nissan needs to make that right. I would not go on a crusade to make the person complaining look bad. Why do people on the forum attack those who have issues with “their” supplier?

The suppliers on this forum are adults, they need to get thicker skins and deal with the issues, some will be more difficult than others but in the end the supplier is 100% responsible for the customers perception regarding the product and customer service.

@dgriego you are making a liar out of me... I wasn't going to post again... but I will address your comments with this

Yes I agree with 99% of you post.. I know the OP stated the "bad" comments and his opinion,,,,, but like I was saying IMO i don't see the post as inviting for the members that posted their "bad" comments to reply.... if people read hopefully they would look for read those bad comments and see the other side of the coin

I have my issues and also posted them.... but I chose to leave them out of this particular thread for a few reasons

1. for example if someone bought a Yugo and loved that Yugo enough to share there love with the "world" even though we all know the Yugo is a POS (most people think so that is) we don't need to bombard that thread and say hey your wrong or hey they suck get a chevy or anything else of that nature.

2. I feel that since it is annoying for someone that posts that they had problems with their Yugo because of xyz... for someone to jump in and say "Hey I never had a problem call a rep... blah blah blah insert what you will"

That is really what I mean... now the comments after, on both sides of the coin are all responsible for the hijack (even this post i just typed).

People that find the "good" posts find the "bad" just as well so we all are informed..... of course there is a time and place where the "good" and "bad" meet in one... IMO I just felt
that this particular thread could have been left at... glad you enjoy your product... or let it alone

I was not trying to make a liar out of you, just stating my opinion on the title of the thread, it is clear that it is a thread started because of customer complaints, not a thread just stating the customers joy and satisfaction with their purchase.

Anyway I do not disagree with your post, other than what I have stated regarding the title.

If you start a post saying you love your Yugo and I jump in saying the Yugo sucks that is bad form.

If you start a post saying you hate your Yugo, it is crap and it will not start, and the dealer says to bad so sad why don't you push it, and then I open up a thread saying that "About those Negative Comments on The Yugo Posted in this forum" and start saying that you were hired by Toyota to trash the Yugo and that Yugo's are awesome......I think that is also bad form.

Both opinions (good Yugo, bad Yugo) are valid and the Yugo dealer should own them both.

WOW..this thread went wrong somewhere

The bad comments posted about PS on this Forum My guess is that PS is taking so much market share from all the other vendors because there product is so much nicer and there customer service is so much better.

Perhaps; it started with trying to be a mindreader. Least that is how this outsider sees it.

And to others---->how can you hijack a thread that was a HIJACK with a pretty new heading?? LOL

(insert html here..http:\\seemyundies)

Since I was the 4th poster in this thread, I am starting to feel like I am the one who started this whole thing.....so let me explain.

My comments were made soley based on these comments....
1) - Originally Posted by Glenn54

and

If I were a competing vendor I'd be jealous as well."

Both of these invoke the feeling that these posts are biased and the people posting are only saying these things to get under peoples skin. There was NO NEED in suggesting that other vendors are behind the recent "Bad Press" that PureSmoker is getting. It is also in bad taste to suggest that it has anything to do with jealousy.

I have no issues with the OP or with cassavetes......only with what they said, and how they chose to say it. I am sorry if my comment made anyone feel like I was hijacking the thread.........that wasn't my intention. My intention was to bring light to those comments and for people to see that others opinions can be just as valid as what you or anyone else thinks of a vendor.

Well folks.......Sorry to post this and run, but I am off the the Dr's office to get this leg worked on. Wish me luck.
