The OP just stated that he was seeing a bunch of posts showing PS in a negative light and gave his opposing position. It's his right to do that just as it's your right to show your dissatisfaction.

Then I see the same group of people jump on this forum and start tearing him apart like starving dogs on a discarded prime rib.

Turn down the treble on the emotional EQ a bit, everyone understands you got screwed. But spamming every thread is getting tiring, We'd like to see other people's opinions as well.

Don't let people goad you into posting angry rants, It just adds fuel to the fire and is going to get a lot of people ...... off... Forums are legendary for that.

So far I have received a number of private msg's, all offering condolences and sympathies. Not one has been in disagreement. I have also received a forum warning for posting personal emails from a vendor. O well, warning heeded, on we go. But to have other members come in and say I am jealous? Of what? I have been a loyal PS customer for a year. Then I get chided by another for not being kind. Seriously? When someone is screwing you without even the courtesy of a reach around, nice is not what you feel buddy.

I'd like to see where you are being screwed, for one you are out of warrentee it was only 6 months, 2nd cross threading is a sign of abuse which is never covered. I'm not saying this to stick up for PS I'm saying this as a business owner's point of view. Aluminum cross threads easily you bought the product knowing it was aluminum and you would have to be careful with the threading and un-threading of the caps.

You've got spunk, I'll say that much. But yes, I'll be off now. Had quite enough entertainment for tonight.

And just to be clear, I've got no real beef with anyone. Just saying what I know, which isn't a whole lot.

I think he got his unit on 9-11-2009 thats 5 months. Anywho I hate seeing people not happy, I hope this gets fixed or something. I have no idea about the cross threading. *lights a candle of hope*

I'd love to stay here and justify my OPINIONS to people that obviously are some sort of elitists that get in a tizzy when others opinions don't agree with their own, but I have work in the morning.

My guess is that PS is taking so much market share from all the other vendors because there product is so much nicer and there customer service is so much better.



Before I bought my Protégé’s I must have asked 20 questions on this board and on there web site, I received fast, courteous and knowable answers.



After I received my Protégé’s I posted that I was having an issue with the switch, I instantly received an answer from PS on the post. That post was kept alive by other posters for days because the title said there was an issue. I even posted that the issue was resolved but it was still kept alive for days I want to post that this post has been hijacked but it finally died.



I have seen Steve on this forum answer question after question. You can go to their site and look at the order number and figure out that Casey is sending out 100 or so orders a day and still has time to answer question.



So, I Love my Protégé, the switch has it’s moments, but customer service is top notch and there products are awesome!

You are correct, I got it in sept of 09, It has a month of warranty left.
I did not abuse my Prodigy in any way, if you call vaping constantly for 5 months abuse, well, thats your problem. I build pc's, I am very good with my hands, I did NOT abuse it. The Crossthreading was a major design flaw and was posted about alot after the first couple of months. Then they changed the warranty! That is my problem, regardless of abuse or not, the warranty said NOTHING about crossthreading because at the time I bought it, it wasn't fully known about. so, honor the warranty as it was when I purchased it. End of story, back to being a loyal customer I would be. Wouldn't you if you were business owner? I would. No questions asked.

VERY good point I agree. I think this thread went sideways when somebody said the complainers worked for the competition which of course brought them in to defend themselves. *breaks out the peace pipe*

I understand, lgd. It was more of a throw away comment. Didn't expect for voltaire or whoever the f he is to read so much into it and feel the need to add absolutely nothing to the original thread but to try and put me in my place. Jesus.
