Have bought 2 (not this exact one) with short cords and eventually the pulling and what not will cause them to break by making a wire loose. Too bad cause one of them was freaking perfect the exact sweet spot i wanted.

I really think short cords should be boycotted because it is only a matter of time until you pull it wrong and it breaks.

Yah the short cord is a problem on the computer...in the car its PERFECT length...I got the cheaper cig looking 5v MadVapes PT on the computer and it has the longer cord.

Just really like the feel of the acrylic PT. Feels like a Stress Ball...Very relaxing.

And it does lay on its side...I'm using 510 cartos in the car so no leaking.

Agreed, the cords should be made longer by design but usb extension cables are cheap.

I saw these and thought they look pretty awesome...one question in my mind was if I slap an E2 cartomizer on one of these, does this thing stand up or lay on its side and if it only lays on its side, have you had leaking?

Thank you!

ice

It doesn't stand up. The shape won't let it plus the cord attaches at the bottom. As far as the E2s I tried the R4s once and hated them so I didn't to any extensive leaking test but they never leaked when I was using them. I've had the Fluxomizers about a week which I'm liking much more and haven't had any leaking at all. If you're laying it down temporarily I wouldn't worry about it but if your not going to use it for an extended period I'd go ahead and remove the carto just to be sure.

i'd like to know that also, from the picture it looks to be atleast 2 foot long.. and if its good to use in the car, why not the computer? from my experience most of the cig lighters in cars are in the middle of the dash board.

Only way i can see the cord not being long enough is if it is only like a foot, and you have no usb hub or usb ports on the front of your computer.

The length of the cord is not the issue using a 5v pass through connected directly to a computer. Using a 5v pass through with a 2.5 ohm atty pulls 2 amps. That's more than most usb ports are designed to give. At best it won't get proper power to the atty for 5v vaping, at worst it can damage the usb port or motherboard. An adapter rated at 2amps or more should be used with a 5 volt pass through and that goes for a car also.

A 3.7v pass through is fine to use connected to a computer.
