Talk about attitude. My doc had me put my chin on my chest and relax. Then he said okay take a deep breath. Then he say's you get angry fast don't you. He said the deep breath caused my bp to raise 35 points. I work on anger and attitude all the time but it's hard to unlearn a lifetime habit. This forum helps a lot.

Question: I noticed that the top battery in the BB reads significantly lower than the bottom battery, when they go on the charger. At first, I thought it was an anomaly; I kept track, and this seems always to be the case. Has anyone else seen that? I'm curious because I thought the reason batteries are meant to be married is so that they discharge at the same rate. Mine clearly don't.

I know what you mean. I have quiet reflective, thoughtful times and then I have those other quiet seething times.

Uh oh! I have heard that you should rotate the batteries that are married. But, I don't think most people do. But, if it's always a significant difference, I think I'm going to have to develop a system to make sure I always rotate. Don't want any explosive surprises.

Pretty sure they're 3.7v so I would assume (we all know bout that assuming) that they'd come out at 4.2 (or within .5 of that) This is a case where I wouldn't think size would matter (so much for the deep and meaningful huh)!
Bear in mind I wuzn't a bricklayer OR an electrician......photographer, social worker, and worked with marine mammals.

Used to be super quick to anger, had a rage in me that shocked me when I realized it, only got rid of it through prayer, not so much behavior modification, but I'm sure that helped a lil bit. Or we could all gang up on ya and tickle ya silly!!!

Very glad Birdy asked about the married pairs being rotated, cuz I couldn't remember if they were supposed to be or not.

On all the 2 battery mods I have the batteries discharge in that way or from the top down. That's why it is good to rotate your batteries so they wear evenly. I have all mine marked.
Sheesh. Really? I have a system for keeping marriages intact, but (now don't laugh. I can't think of another way to say this! :)) no system for tracking tops and bottoms! Will you please share your system?

I've always rotated my married batts. (It's good to take turns, ya?) Call me krazy (you will NOT be the first), but I do have a system that works well for me. And there's very little thinking that must take place. It's a question of learning your own set of rules. I have only one rule for the marriage: (no DPL, different rule) ;)

From the B Box to the charger, there is a bottom batt and a top batt. (The bottom I consider to be left, and the top one is obviously the right. So into the charger they go, left/bottom and right/top.)

For simplicity's sake, we'll just call 'em top and bottom.

So here are two sets in the charger. Don't pay much attention to the sloppy labeling. I sure don't. ;)

Now here comes the "tricky" part. I REVERSE them when I'm putting them away. That way, when I reach for fresh batts, I need do no thinking whatsoever. They're ready to rock and roll.

Here is their bed.

However, If I maybe so bold to suggest . . .

OK. Got it. Bottom battery always comes out first. And, I always load the left bay of my charger first, just feels right. So, now I'll put that battery in the back of the 2-cell plastic box (the other in the front) because I always put to top battery in first (which will be the front battery in my box). That works!

No, that's wrong. Wait a minute. The battery in the left bay will go in the front slot because I always put the top battery into my BB first.

I think I've got it. Bottom battery out first. Into left bay of charger. Into front slot in battery box. Into top slot in BB.

That's Bottom Left Front Top, Bacon Lettuce and F**** Tomato!

Seriously Now . . .

This the Box that I purchased with "My" Batteries from RTD . . .

The Top lifts up from the front of the box (See the little tab on the right side facing Ya') and hinged to the back of the box . . .

AND - The Batteries sit sideways - So 1 would be on Top & 1 on the Bottom . . .

Which would be real convenient, since Ya can make sure that after charging - You can put the bottom battery on Top and the top battery on the Bottom . . .

Just a thought . . . ;)

I've ALWAYS given you credit for doing this, and yet I simply can't bring myself to wrestle with it (I HEAR YOU LAUGHING!).

Kat & J5 are absolutely are korrect (sigh). And no, I don't do that. I do marry them (P-Touched sets 1/1, 2/2, 3/3 & 4/4). But I don't do the a/b thing that is the best approach.

My batteries are fine, but would certainly be better if I followed the J-Kat recipe. So if you've got the patience, and the where-with-all, yes, I'd recommend it.

I, obviously, have neither.
