OK. Got it. Bottom battery always comes out first. And, I always load the left bay of my charger first, just feels right. So, now I'll put that battery in the back of the 2-cell plastic box (the other in the front) because I always put to top battery in first (which will be the front battery in my box). That works!

No, that's wrong. Wait a minute. The battery in the left bay will go in the front slot because I always put the top battery into my BB first.

I think I've got it. Bottom battery out first. Into left bay of charger. Into front slot in battery box. Into top slot in BB.

That's Bottom Left Front Top, Bacon Lettuce and F**** Tomato!

The ONLY thing to remember is to reverse them at some point. What point? That's up to you. :) Keep it consistent and they'll be happy newlyweds for a long, long time.

I simply have 8 batteries that I use, and they are numbered 1-8, 1-4 I use in my clear anodized, and 5-8 in my RPG. If 1 is in the top position 2 in the bottom, then 3 in the top position 4 in the bottom. The next time I put 1 & 2 in, 1 goes in the bottom, and 2 in the top, and so forth. I started this about a year ago, when I noticed that they were not draining evenly. I also had a problem that was solved by this, the one that was always getting drained more, got to the point where it would not fire the BB. In my BB's the battery in the bottom position, always drains more than the top position. :?:

Sheesh. Really? I have a system for keeping marriages intact, but (now don't laugh. I can't think of another way to say this! :)) no system for tracking tops and bottoms! :facepalm:Will you please share your system?

I just mark mine with a marker, 1 &2. The top no matter if they're stacked or side by side is the positive feed to the controller.

Now the question is, how many people Date & "Mark" their batteries for how many times they have been recharged . . .

Mine are marked in pairs like I said but the age I don't know. When one starts not holding a charge as long it's trashed. The mate is saved until the next set has a weak cell. Then the 2 good ones are remarked in a new pair. I also watch how much they charge. If they don't charge all the way to 4.7 volts I toss them.
Every battery I have from AAA to 18650 are rechargeable because I hate buying them.

I do mark the month and year, so I know how hold they are, but no way could I remember (or even care) to mark charges.

you must toss a lotta batteries hehehe either that or you got super charged ones! Mine only charge to 4.2 :)

Probably different charger. Mine clear back in 2010 have charged to 4.7 but it's where the charger is set to shut off that regulates that.
hmmm ok, must be sumpthin I dunno about. I thought the 3.7v batts that we use only went to 4.2 (that in itself never made sense to me, but that's a story for another day)

Depends on the charger shut off setting and the battery. I have one charger that takes them to 4.10 but I don't like going that high.

Question: I noticed that the top battery in the BB reads significantly lower than the bottom battery, when they go on the charger. At first, I thought it was an anomaly; I kept track, and this seems always to be the case. Has anyone else seen that? I'm curious because I thought the reason batteries are meant to be married is so that they discharge at the same rate. Mine clearly don't.

ive been checkin mine when i takem out and they read the same....3.4 when it wont vape and does the auto shut off thing.and i put a few cycles on the new batts and they are charging to 4.2 every time now.these lil boogers charge superfast too.also just gonna ask to see if anyone has any not used up batts they want to sell, just wanted to offer nsomeone here to make a few bucks before i go and buy another 4 batts.thanks again for akll the input i get from ya'll!-Rick

I have a 4 bay charger that charges anything you can fit in it or connect to it. It's a cheap one and someday I'm going to get a better one. I still have a couple small chargers but I PIFed most of my chargers to people I set up with ecigs to get them started. The battery it'self has a lot to do with it. The chemicals used to make them etc.

The bridge is the cat's meow. I have to get another Boro tank one of these days.
I like the charging and everything on the cheap charger but the slides for the negative contact on the battery could work better. For 18650 I have to slide it open with my finger on a couple slots. It sticks towards the end of the slide.
