MANY thumbs-up for the Ohman tips. He makes a variety of styles, all titanium based, and the quality is the best I've seen yet.

In fact, three of us liked one of his Rev 4 versions so much, we asked him to create the same tip for our Rev 3s. Good work, that man does.
Pix?

Wow folks!

Lotsa new infos to readz!!!

Kinda info-overload, but here's what I got:

1. DP no likey AW no more
2. Current gen black AW too short
3. Current gen red AW too long
4. Pretty much every other brand is a scary foreign brand (to me)
5. The most recommended ones (outside of AW) can't be imported
6. I'm gonna need to alter my BBox to fit whichever battery I decide to go with, cuz I pretty much only trust AW
7. Sorry DP, but as long as their batteries are still good, I don't care if they R being the dickz about some stuff...being a mechanic, being a former smoker, and being a current vaper...well I'm used to having to make things work for my needs, rather than vice-versa.

So, I'd like to get these RTD AW IMR 16340 units.
Are those the ones I need to smash my battery terminals for?

As always, thanks in advance for all your help!
She'll be home by Tuesday!!!

Of course! Most have already seen these. It's one of his plain titanium ones (he does some great stuff with acrylics too), but Kat, F2V & I all fell in love with its performance. It's a special one (thanks, @raqball for putting us onto it!).

Hey everyone. Was just wondering has anyone heard from Uncle lately I haven't seen any post from him for awhile or did I just miss them.

He's around, SD. Posting sporadically, but we'd got a PM going that he replied to in the past few days.

I got four current gen red AW cells from RTD. Although they fit a bit looser than the pair of black AWs that came with my 3.a, they work just fine.

Sounds good!

I'd rather a battery be a bit loose, than too tight.

Someone said earlier (sorry I forgot the name!) that the battery terminals can either be stretched or smooshed (with pliers)...
I'd rather stretch them a bit, as they'll go back into shape easier.
Smashing them with pliers may result in irreparable damage!

Agreed!

At least where batteries are concerned.

My only hesitation in ordering the black ones is:
Once you go black, you never go back!
No seriously!
If I have to smoosh my battery terminal contacts to accommodate the longer battery (keep it together folks), trying to get them back to their original shape is fairly difficult.

So, I think I'll get the red ones, also because they're "protected" cells, and stretching the battery terminal contacts won't be a potentially permanent alteration to my device.

Right?

Dunno, HB. I have zero desire to smooch or smash my batt terminals on the B Boxes. I've been kwite pleased with the Imrens, actually.

If you do get the AWs from RTD, I'm guessing you mean these:

*NEW* AW IMR 16340 550mAh 8A

Protected? I don't think so.

Options. :)

Racing bridge arrived today. Tight fit really. But it is working like a charm as i expected it would be. Slapped 0.5 ohm coil in it and it is just as good if not better than kanger occ. It really completed the billet box. I prefer it much more than Uno even tho it doesn't look at good and takes up more space but the experience it all that matters to me. Really loving it
