Chiming in a bit late, but since I tried one of Ohman's tips I am now using them on everything I own. Bret does a great job and all are made by hand, so they're not fasttech priced but still reasonable for how good they are.

I especially like his PoH (Plumes of Hazard) profile but all of them are comfortable and most are small enough so they don't feel like you've got a garden hose in your mouth. He makes hybrid and standard; the metal core he uses on some models is titanium. Excellent product, excellent service and excellent guy.

I have an hybrid one :) . And yes, they are awesome. But I can't MTL with it, its too big for me. The PoH is nice to MTL? It's small? Can't find any dimensions.

That's hard to give a definitive answer since everybody has different standards on almost anything vape related. But yes, they work great *for me* and I definitely am a MTL vaper. Using my cheap and maybe inaccurate chinese micrometer, the 6 I checked were 4 - 5mm for the inside bore at the mouth end and just under 6mm at the bottom.

Coming back to clarify something: I think you originally asked about hybrid tips. I prefer the regular 510 models since I can use them on anything if I feel like changing things around. All the measurements were from tips with a standard 510. I don't know if he has to use a larger tube in order to get the threading done on the hybrids.

So, Emily Latella invoked. Maybe.

Thanks much for the Ohman’s PoH tip recommendation. Just ordered :)

Someone a few pages back was having difficulty building the Insider MTL. It’s pretty much all I use. I do moderately tight cotton wicking, trim the shoulders back a bit, and trim the tails so they barely touch the top of the juice channels. When I’ve had the tails in the channels, it wicks for just a few minutes — maybe half a tank — and then kaput! Dry hits. Hope this helps!

Hi! Probably that guy was me :) . I wicked it several times already, and also discovered that the best method is the one that you have described. But, the last time that I've wicked it (Sunday) it worked good for the first time, and know when I refill it leaks continuously :/

Been doing some customization of my own this past week or so to the BB to turn it into what has been dubbed the blood box. Everything red. Won some colored screws from Friendly Flipper, went back to the red boro, sold off the trvp gold inners and went back to stock, new tips-still debating between the two, but the dot mod one is an actual friendly flipper flushtip that i find can fit the top part of a dotmod baby friction tip. Just painted the condensation plug yesterday, also dyed a regular white condensation plug in case the painted one doesn't work out too well. Still more to come in the next few days. And eventually I'll get red batteries [emoji23]
And still running strong on mini EUC coils. Usually I get like 6 weeks use out of one, but this one in now will make it to 9 weeks tomorrow...

Indeed it is...RDTA on steroids! Great vape and leak and condensation free!

I have to admire your impartiality. The Boxxer debacle and how it was handled is right up there with the Cloudmaker thing.

After being hung out to dry after you originally did a very positive review - and then the retail version was changed which created the dumpster fire it became - a lot of people would take offense to being put in that position.

That you didn't and are still willing to offer your opinion is admirable.

Still, watching how the original buyers (pre-purchase at that!) were treated by the company there is no way I would spend even a penny with them.

Yes it was handled really badly and I was put in a tough position but I'm a big boy and they know they screwed up and promised to make things right and they won't make the same mistake again and they will make it right with their redemption package. The Boxxer V2 is now the product it should have been in the first place and is even better than the beta version I was happy with before they screwed up and made a change before production... and I will also be testing the final beta of the Flow V2 next week... if it's good to go then the redemption packages will be available and everyone will eventually be happy.

The Boxxer was always destined to be a game changer for the BB and it surely is.

But I get your standpoint... I guess because I know the team I have been more forgiving than most.

What is the redemption package? The last I heard, the people who waited and waited and got an unusable device were finally offered some sort of discount on a V2. That offer was a long tme coming after people had spent $100 or more - and then took more months until now when a V2 (proto, at least) seems to exist. So it was my understanding that the initial money was down the drain, and a buyer would have to spend even more money in the hopes they'd get something usable.

Please understand I'm not picking on you. As I watched this whole thing unfold, from the pre-purchase only requirement, to delay after delay after delay, to the people who'd had their money tied up for months being told that they weren't in line ahead of those who bought on the day of release, and then the result being something a lot of people had problems with, with those who asked why it leaked being banned from the group, with the maker responding after a while that there was no problem and the users didn't know how to build - After all that I left the group and l haven't been back since. You seem to be somewhat close to the situation so I'm asking for an update. Thanks in advance.

@GeekyGeezer those that bought the V1 will be able to get the redemption package which is a V2 Boxxer and a V2 Flow for $45. So, in a nutshell, a Boxxer that works perfectly and a V2 Flow for $45.

In also interested to know.....

I bought mine from a retailer.....am I still eligible?
If so how do I claim?

Yes, you should indeed be eligible @laurie9300. Best chat to your retailer and make sure they are aware of the redemption package!

I reached out to the retailer I bought my boxxer from, and they sent me to fill in the form on the Odis site here....

BOXXER

Winner! Thanks for letting others know too @laurie9300! It's been a long wait but it will be worth it. The V2 really is what it should have been in the beginning...
