When I smoked I never liked the taste of cigarettes... I always had to have a drink to wash that nasty taste away... My wife at the time (she is someone else's problem now LOL) smoked lights and I could not smoke them because I would never get a satisfying throat hit from them..

I know a lot of the new fangled vape crowd never smoked and for them I think it's all about flavor and cloudzzzz....

Did anyone here actually enjoy the taste of a cigarette? I always thought the taste was disgusting even when I smoked a pack to a pack and half a day...

yeah my adopted mama smoked lights. I always told her that mine were stronger even unlit than hers were lit!

I dunno that I enjoyed the taste, but it wasn't disgusting. I loved most everything about smoking and never wanted to quit. Til I started wheezing a bit and everyone I knew seemed like, wuz ending up on oxygen. Still didn't wanna quit then, but knew I needed to so I wouldn't be luggin a green tank around

I am a certified flavor chaser, so I really need to look into this setup. I'm currently using the Nautilus bridge in the 3.a and the BVC bridge in the Rev. 4. I vape mainly dessert flavors and Suicide Bunny - Mother's Milk through the 1.6 ohm Nautilus coil (3.a set to 4.75 volts) is amazingly flavorful. I'd go as far as saying that it's probably the most flavorful vape I've ever had.

I prefer higher PG. Anywhere from 65 to 80% is my preferred range.

But, (there's that saying again - it's on the TIP of my tongue!).

This is going to be a slippery slope...Rev4 has arrived. Damn...these guys are just going to take more of my money! Very happy with the BVC coil and Bridge:

And it's a truly marvelous thing that there is something for everyone. I had the good fortune of hitting it perfectly with the first non-carto release, and I'm thankful for that. It made my coil stockpiling efforts that much easier.

How DOES that saying go again... jeez... something SO profound...

"Taste is..." (daymit! I can't remember).

@Katdarling - HOW does that go again???

In the eye of the tongue holder? Hell if I know!

I am on the other end of the spectrum.. I don't care about flavor.. When I smoked, and why I vape now, is for the throat hit...

How bad is my non flavor chasing? Well...... I use 120 ml bottles and I take 115 ml of unflavored VG/PG mix and then dump 5 ml of flavored juice in there... Shake, shake, shake = Vape! It gives me a very minor / subdued / seriously diluted amount of flavor..

I really think most juice is over flavored! Don't get me wrong though, I like a little flavor as opposed to straight up VG/PG mix but I can vape that too sometimes.

For me it's all about the throat hit..

SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE!

Agreed, raq. I can put in at least 50% unflavored with VERY little flavor loss. Most vliquids are WAY over-flavored.

I have only held onto my comfort bridge this long as I am waiting on the RBA deck labeled the VFTF. I used to use kabuki tanks and I have a local friend who worked with china manufacturers to get RBA decks made for the nautilus coils so it will be interesting to see the flavor I can get off those.

wow.....those are teeny, hope you can see it, much less build on it lol

That. Exactly! Please do let me/us know how the building goes for you with those magnifiables.

Re: flavor and throat hit
I've noticed that most people use 50/50 or higher in favor of VG. For some reason I've always gone with 70/30 PG/VG (sometimes 60/40) especially because of the throat hit. When I started many years ago I went through a flavor madness phase, but that quickly passed, and for the last 4 (ish) years I've been vaping unflavored 6mg nic.

Is that not normal, and am I an outlier (wouldn't be the first time :D)? Would be interesting to see if the median/mode clusters around 50/50.

Ugh, procrastinating--my turn to put the kids to bed:cry::shock:. That typically takes at least half an hour just to get started. And it's hot in Denmark today (26-28C / 78/82F), so they're going crazy.

82F, hot??? Ummmmmm........ we sweltered and sweated thru 116 the other day.......... OMG.

aarrhhuuss, I vape 65/35 PG/VG. For me, that's the perfect blend. I'm also one who doesn't care for terribly high VG. I CAN do 50/50 occasionally, but prefer higher PG. Like some others, the high VG makes me feel heavy in da lungs.

GREAT question, raq. I don't know if I liked the taste. I THINK I did, but like DBDoooooooooooo, I loved everything about smokin'. :vapor:

The taste of cigarettes hmmmmmmmmm to be honest I had no taste when I smoked. They neither tasted good or bad it was the feeling of inhaling and exhaling smoke that was the satisfying part. I was immune to the smell as well.

The physical feeling of inhaling the icy TH and then the visual of seeing vapour being exhaled was the switch my brain needed to instantly switch to vaping once I knew intellectually that I had a nicotine source.

@Uncle you are such a sweetie and I know you struggle with dual use but don't stress. You are a valued member of the vaping community and what you are doing works for you.

I hope someone out there can give me some input. Just got the coilart ceramic kanger coils and was wondering if anyone know if it's safe to use in a rev 4? Since ceramic tends to retain more heat than regular coils, will it damage the boro tank or mod? The glass is hot to the touch and was starting to worry.

I'm afraid I cannot, but you throw a potentially valuable scenario out here. I'm hoping someone else may have some experience....

At the surface, the "Hot" makes me a bit uncomfortable.

Message them on Facebook and ask. They respond ridiculously fast!

F5 keys, at ease. From the BBV site...

>

Next Batch July 2nd,

and should have the DNA 25 BB's ready by then too.... lookin' like it...

Billet Box Vapor Inc.

"Captain wiggle ...."????

DD - you crack me UP!!!

So what are the DNA 25's gonna be?
Any speculation?

Same form factor as the Rev-4? That makes the most sense.
Throwing a third body style in the mix would be hard on BBV...

It would be cool to see it as a retrofitted Rev-3...

Hmmm...speculating...speculating...
