Ohh Ohh. One more thing I'm adding to the list above is:

-The ability to fill without removing the tank.... And this is a big one! Very big! Just slide the glass down, fill and close. Back in business in no time. :)

*At least comparing Boro tank to Boro tank.

If Mr. DD of BBV had not released this last batch of Rev3's, I would have already ordered a Rev 4, although I must say that I don't like the big screen version, I want that billet box engraving back on the inside. :glare: I also have never owned anything that has had a DNA board in it, so I have no experience with them at all. I know I love the Rev 3's, so the decision was easy for me. :2c:

mmm HMMM! I was stunned...

The DNAs are excellent. But I found DD's board better, until those two last hits, when the battery died on you.

Plus, it's about 1000 times more sturdy.

But I've got a bunch of DNA stuff, and like all of them. So NO complaints there.

Nice way to jump in! How's the battery life with the Rev3a's? Depending on the day I can easily flatline my BB 18650.

I have 2 that I use mostly all day, and the batteries last me for a full day for those 2. I use coils that are around 2.1 to 2.2 ohms, and my voltage is set at 4.25 volts. I have no idea what that is in watts though. :|

NOW - If I can finally do the same and get a BB v3.a "Fawkes"/"Firebald" and "Glaucus "/"Blue Oyster Box" when I actually have the money and/or if they come up for sale a little less expensive/bargain in the classies as they have before . . . Really don't vape with any sub-oHm coils, so I don't NEED the extra Power of a BB V4 (although still nice to have) . . . Then I would be all set for quite some time . . .

I have 3 rDNA devices that I use mostly all day. I really like them and the rev 3 Billet Box. I got one beater that I built about 7 yrs. ago when I first started that I use for hazardous duty. damned if I remember the board in it but it still vapes good.
It's an analog board. You want to go higher you just turn it up. It's good for tootle puffing.

Oh well...guess I'll have to wait until one pops up on the Classifieds...if one ever does.

If it is a BB v3.a "Fawkes"/"Firebald" and "Glaucus "/"Blue Oyster Box" that becomes available in the classies . . .

"Colors for Saturday will be black, rpg, dark blue, clear (silver) and dober. We'll also have more Atmistique stuff!"
Darnit.... LOL. Why do I find myself tempted by Dober or RPG???? I'm good... Why am I even considering another???? Lol

It's past time for that to happen. I can't believe the vendors have nothing but sub-ohm gear instead of serving both sub-ohm and tootle puff. I like flavor and I don't have taste buds in my lungs. So for me it's mouth (where the taste buds reside) to lung. There are a lot of people I talk to that feel the same about vendors. That's why I like Doug of Billet box fame because he takes care of both venues. I hardly ever buy anything from all the vendors since Isaac quit. He was another vendor that truly did take care of his customers.

You'll think RPG is too purple in person.

But, you'll get a vape-hard-on over the Dober.

Whoops! Aren't I supposed to NOT tempt you?

RPG, too purple? I don't see it as purple purple at all. Vision is subjective, me thinks. :)

Vision is definitely subjective...and apparently each BBox ends up slightly different than the next when it comes to the RPG...

Dasswuddeyeherd anyway.

Mine DEFINITELY looks purpley to me.

Different runs result in different shades (trust someone who has held a ton of them, for various reasons). My RPG is beautiful, more gray than purple.

My family & I (5 BB'ers to be exact) all get the same battery results. About 1/2 tank (3ml) from one set of batteries, running at around 4.5v using 1.8 ohm coils. In an 8-10 hour work day, I'd usually need to swap out once, then once again later.

This was back when I used one device through an entire day.:cry:

Could not agree more! Seriously.... What you with the huge sub-ohm only????

I actually like all the colors, and I am not rational when it comes to REV 3 A BB's, they are my favorite Mod, this is something that I can't have too many of. I have never heard of one of these ever having a fatal failure of the board, they are like the energizer bunny. :)

KAS

Round of applause :p

I am putting panels on half of mine so I have an excuse to double up on the colours.

That's my excuse and I am sticking to it

A Tale of Two L'Oranges

I realize this may result in the ....-retentive among us to go out and order more-of-the-same of colors they like, but please understand that it's physically impossible to know what you might get. And I'd HATE to see DD deluged with requests for pics of the latest runs. So if THAT thought occurs to anyone, please-please-PLEASE refrain...

This is simply to provide a clear understanding that no two batches are exactly alike. That is all, carry-on. :)
