The Odis is expected to be in my mailbox on August 2, so it'll be a tough few days! Fingers crossed that it doesn't end up at the Chicago USPS distribution facility.
Well if your expedited shipping is gonna take til the 2nd to be to NY...I'm sure my standard shipping will take six years to get to CA...

The Canadian postal service didn't pick the package up until yesterday, so that added on another day. The expedited service is 4 business days - not horrible, considering the shipping charge.
So no leaking problems having the tape like that? I would think it would compromise the seal.
I wish I could have been able to afford another Rev 4 BB, but instead I ordered 2 Rev 3 & 1 Rev 4 Boro tanks. I needed 2 more of the REV 3's, to have one for each box, and this will give one spare for my Rev 4. I figured it might have been my last chance to get more for my Rev 3's, and I like the idea of having a spare for my Rev 4.

For those of you guys that use the Rev 3's, my last 2 order's from RTD for the black AW 16340 batteries, have measured around 34.5 mm in length. It seems as though AW has corrected the problem with them. The ones I got from them before around a year ago, were around 35.5 mm long. I bought 8 last month, and 8 this month, they all measured the same.

In case you're not being sarcastic, that's just how they get shipped to keep the glass from getting damaged, and to help slide the glass open when you get it. I recommend removing it before use.
I'm hoping they didn't discontinue them, but they are no longer listed on the site. I've been wanting one myself.

Good to know. I ordered 6 new rev3 batteries from RTD (the black AW) and just picked up the mail so havent used them yet. Also, I heard you can buy the replacement glass for the rev3 Boro from BB. I picked up 2 more Boro tanks but didn't know about the extra glass till last night. That is the only way to get access to that page, it was a long time ago when I did it. I recently tried e-mail and the message thing on my account to make a request, with no response. There is also a phone number on the site. You might have better luck with that.

I think they just sell out periodically and it takes them some time to make another batch, depending on where it is on their list of priorities. I'm sure they will keep making them though.
Not being sarcastic. Haven't received mine yet but I have seen a few posts where people suggested using tape to facilitate sliding the glass down. Needles to say I was surprised to see yours with it on the inside of yours. I thought it was like that all the time.
