Here I go with more questions, do I need one of those damp plugs for the billet box? If so whose got them in stock?
I've got this in mine and love it. I run the vape shell with that, I'm using the orange plug and vape shell is using one of the standard airflow inserts like 2nd biggest I believe. Not a mtl per say but it definitely ain't lung either.

SVT AFC Kit MTL - Billet Box.

I ended up ordering the plug from Jwraps. If that doesn’t work I’ll make one myself shouldn’t be too hard.

The one I showed you is nice because it's fits onto the bottom of your boro, and let's you got your tank without removing the plug. You'd have to remove any afc on your bridge most likely, which is a plus if it doesn't hold the setting well since it'll be fixed with the inserts. And it does a really good job of keeping condensation on the tank area.

I’m definitely going to keep it in mind; going to see how this jwraps plug works. Hopefully it will be fine.

Got the billet box. Just trying it out now for the first time. Really enjoying it although it has been a while since I had to wick for a tank style device lol. This insider mtl wide open feels like a 1mm air hole and it can be closed down to nothing. I’m surprised this isn’t more popular? It’s a true mtl and those who know me, know that I know mtl. :)

Honestly until you posted about it I had never heard of it, I didn't know they made a MTL version. From what I had read about the other version, I knew it was going to be more airy than I would have liked. Every RBA for the BB I have tried has disappointed me in one way or another. I always end up going back to the drop in coils, I will now consider this one in the future. :|

Kas I would say with the hole wide open it’s maybe a 3/64ths draw or 1.2-1.3mm. I can close it down to tighter than a 1mm airhole for sure on the afc. I love it I think I got lucky choosing the insider mtl

Well, I trust your judgment, I like all the same squonker atty's that you do as well. For some reason most atty designers seem to ignore the needs of the MTLer's for the BB, they are all for the clouds bro folks. :?:

I think that’s with a lot of stuff today. Kas you won’t regret it it’s super tiny. The airhole for the coil is smaller than the chalice iii air hole.

The VapeShell was designed as an intermediate device, to cater to the tighter side of the DL crowd, and the mid-loose side of the MTL crowd.

The airflow ranges from 2.0mm to 4.0mm

If I remember correctly, I think they’ve got an MTL set of airflow reducers in the works...

I’m kind of interested in the vapeshell; wish I could try one before making that decision. I may pick it up just to play with. I’m undecided but knowing me I’ll look at it once or twice a week then a few times a week then I’ll start putting it in the shopping cart and acting like I’m going to order it before I chicken out and don’t go through with it for a few days until I end up buying it on impulse like I always do with vape gear. :D

Well I was not going to bring this up, but for me it doesn't work, the problem with it, is mainly the juice holes in the bottom of the thing are too large. If the holes were half the size that they are I think it would be fine. No mater what I did with it, it would always leak, just could not get enough cotton in there. :|

Have you tried a spaced build or larger coil diameter?

26g 3mm at about 1Ω has always works great for me. I run it at about 15-17.5W

What’s your go-to build?

Maybe I can try replicating that, and offer some insight?

As a friend of the creators, I feel a strange sense of responsibility to anyone struggling with the VapeShell...

After all, according to Atmizoo, I played an instrumental role in helping design and bring the VapeShell to life.

I don’t see the part I played having been that instrumental, but those are their words!
