Black tape on there or what's going on? I taped the hairline crack that started on my stock size glass, but nothing a spare, nano kit, or the alum tank I ordered won't cure in the future.
It's juice...pic is black and white

I agree. I used 28 when I first got it and got 26 as its more like a dripper... I got all my diy stuff going last night and had to rebuild my plume vail.. I used the 26 and rayon of course;) I found most of the flavors I ordered to be pretty good! Only after testing for a few hours I grabbed my smpl with the billows V2 and Ohhh man I've got some work to do hahaha. It tastes so good!!

Depends... 28g 0.5ohm works great on mechs if you have a juice that loves lower wattages. But my go to mech dual coil build is a 26g 2.5mm id 6wrap... can't go wrong with that.
I also ordered a 2.5 coiler, your build is what I'm hoping will work better on the billow. I tried twisted 28 coils but I don't like the ramp up time on them.

26ga 7/8 wraps works great for me. I'll try 6/7 wraps next rebuild, I also want to try a spaced coil build...

I only use to build spaced coils... tried contacted early this year but for me the flavor is much better on spaced ones. Imo there are a lot of benefits using spaced coils...

Do I just wrap with a little space, or wrap tight then pull apart?

Personally wrap tight and then space apart evenly using exacto knife or very fine tweezers I have. Can always squish it back tight if you change your mind.

I tried spacing the coils more apart today, but haven't really noticed much of a difference.

How many wraps is that? I jus rebuild mine with 26awg and 7 wraps. I'm getting 0.40ohms is that normal? Sorry for the noob question jus don't understand why I could get 0.21 with the coils that came with my billow v2 nano

Curiousity finally got the better of me and I had to try a clapton build. Very nice vape but needs a bit more power to get going than I'm used to. Might get some wire with a thinner core or have a go at making my own.

Claptons are my favorite in the BV2! 26/34 gauge, 2mm id, 6 wraps at .3 to .35 ohms and 35 watts. Saturated deliciousness!

It takes a little practice to make clapton coils, after a few times it becomes really easy. For me I hated using a drill so I made a hand crank clapton jig. It takes me about 20 minutes from straightening the core wire til the final wrap to make about 12 inches.
