I grabbed a spare glass on ebay. I tend to break things
Black tape on there or what's going on? I taped the hairline crack that started on my stock size glass, but nothing a spare, nano kit, or the alum tank I ordered won't cure in the future.
Loving mine too! Just ordered some 26ga, 28 just seems like too much resistance.
I also ordered a 2.5 coiler, your build is what I'm hoping will work better on the billow. I tried twisted 28 coils but I don't like the ramp up time on them.Depends... 28g 0.5ohm works great on mechs if you have a juice that loves lower wattages. But my go to mech dual coil build is a 26g 2.5mm id 6wrap... can't go wrong with that.
26ga 7/8 wraps works great for me. I'll try 6/7 wraps next rebuild, I also want to try a spaced coil build...
Do I just wrap with a little space, or wrap tight then pull apart?I only use to build spaced coils... tried contacted early this year but for me the flavor is much better on spaced ones. Imo there are a lot of benefits using spaced coils...

.55ohms, 26g, 2mmid at 45 jiggawatts. Loaded with Grants. Dang it's tasty.
Claptons are my favorite in the BV2! 26/34 gauge, 2mm id, 6 wraps at .3 to .35 ohms and 35 watts. Saturated deliciousness!

It takes a little practice to make clapton coils, after a few times it becomes really easy. For me I hated using a drill so I made a hand crank clapton jig. It takes me about 20 minutes from straightening the core wire til the final wrap to make about 12 inches.
