Loving all the "quitting stories" they are inspirational! I'm not doing to bad today - just really tired. I know its from vaping a lot.

Stretchy, could you ship Mr. Crabbypants out here for a training session? I told my hubby the other day, ummm, I need romance! After 24 years, it seems to have slipped to the wasteland.

Washed all the bedding in my room and daughters room. Too hot for another load - will get to son's room tomorrow so its nice & fresh when he gets home on SATURDAY!!!! Miss him bunches! He'll only be home for 3 days, then off again to Cross Country camp in San Fran.

He's getting the orders out as fast as he can. We had quite a few stock up orders for overseas. They take time because of the customs forms. Poor Mr. V is earning his ice cream this week. *giggling*

Either way you guys rock!

So...I may be getting a divorce....Mr. Crabbypants works for the State's Emergency Management Agency.
It sometimes requires him to travel to the different counties in Ohio to determine how there Emergency response teams are set up.
Cut to my next door neighbors who are from W.Va. lovely people. When there kids have a Birthday they go back to the bakery near to where they lived to get the cake. I have been invited to many of their parties.I go because this cake was the same cake Marie Antoinette died for.I'm sure of it.It's the most fabulous cake ever. No New York or Los Angeles bakery could top this bakery. They do serious cake. It's in Steubenville Ohio.
Back to Mr. Crabbypants.
He call's on his way home to tell me he has a SURPRISE for me.What? He said he wouldn't tell me what it was because it was a surprise. HUH? I looked on my caller ID to make sure it was who I thought it was and it was indeed Mr. Crabbypants. After a few minutes of teasing me about my SURPRISE he told me it was a cake from Downtown Bakery in Steubenville.
Who is this man?I had no clue that he knew I loved their cake nor did I know he knew the bakery was in Steubenville.
I kind of recognize this guy from courting days(yes I am that old to call it courting days) but I have not seen him for 41 years. This is all too much for me to take in.A brand new puppy AND a cake in the same week?WTF?
I have a headache..

Oh SP you better get over the headache'and pay the man.You know what I mean.:lol:

No, that kind of stuff happens to me all the time Stretch. I thought it was just me.

Me too. However, why give up everything that's fun for a couple of extra years in the nursing home?

I drive my doctor nuts - tell her I eat bacon, butter and put gravy on my potatoes, love salt and sugar. I eat potato chips fried in lard. Yummmmmm. She says "no no no you can't do that!" :D

Though not a coffee drinker, after 9 years in the navy, I am well aware of the effects of lackacoffee. You are excused. Again. ;)
How can you spend that long in the navy and not drink coffee???

Mail came, mail went...still no DID...

Edit: Its here in NH! It will be here tomorrow! Yay!

Lard - haven't heard that since my mom was around. She kept a coffee can of "home made lard" on top of the stove. God only knows what was in there (((shivers))). After my dad had 3 heart attacks in one week, the lard disappeared.

I love salt (keeps my BP to almost 100), I love butter, I love sugar - in my coffee!
