Well, I got bored, so I felt like turning nerd hour back on. AAAAND here is your answer. Yes, a dc 1.5 ohm carto WILL pull 24 watts (assuming the battery can handle it). Each coil must drop the full 6v if they are wired in parallel. At 6v, your total circuit current is divided equally over each coil (assuming they are exactly the same resistance). So, since you have two 3ohm coils in parallel, the battery sees a total circuit resistance of 1.5ohms, leaving you with a total circuit current of 4amps, with each coil drawing 2amps each. Now, each coil at 6v, 3ohms, 2amps, gives you 12 watts per coil. Current in parallel circuits is additive. So, the battery does see 24watts. Which is why most people will say dont use a dc over 4v or so.

Nice...ty very much for taking the time....and still pretty scary I was doing that. I've stopped, fyi.

Perception is definitely in play there, and I don't know that I was looking to get THAT hot of a vape...I was just using the 6v and 1.5ohm together, as thats what I had available at one point. I think once you reach a certain point, the heat generated really kills off most of the flavor, which is oddly enough, another post I had in a different thread...this would explain why I didn't really taste much coming out of those. Go figure.

So I got my new Copper Creek juices two days ago. I tried the Chocolate Ice Cream and thought it tasted like baby aspirin. Kind of salty. So I put it up to steep for awhile. I was going to let the Chocolate Chip Cookies steep, but my curiosity got the better of me, and I tried it today. Same thing! It doesn't taste like chocolate or cookie at all. Just that citrusy orange baby aspirin flavor. Is there something wrong with my taste buds???!

I love the chocolate ice cream fresh and steeped, and I don't get any hint of orange at all. I have tried the chocolate chip cookie, also fresh and steeped and also never got any hint of orange. There are tons of fans of both around especially the CCC, and I never heard anyone say anything about orange. Sorry, don't know if that helps or not...
