Kick Bass Vapor

Great people at KBV and some really interesting juices. But always order with extra flavoring. They are very subtle custom blends that make you chase the words for what you're vaping. Fun when you need an "all night" chill-out juice like tonight (watching the vape TV live feed from Vapefest in another window).

Like I said: "four digits" and "gotta have one of those" people on this thread. We're awful. I made a list while watching vapefest. So far: Eclipse EQ, Empire, and Helix. And it's almost time for another bulk purchase on atty's again. Yikes, not sure how much I'm going save on not smoking the analogs. But, I doubt I'll ever break even with the pace that the mods are constantly evolving.

I don't know if y'all saw my post about the dual coil cartos that Drew is selling now. But they are amazing on the Darwin. I get more flavor from it then any carto I've tried. Tons of flavor, tons of vape. They are a stiffer draw then Boge's though- that is the only thing I dislike about them. I usually toss my Boge's when they get this tight, so it is hard for me to get used to it. But the amount of flavor is so good that I'm willing to give in. I typically run about 7w with Boge's. But these dual coils are very low res (1.4ohm), and I find them best at 5.5w.

Thats cool N2, mine are due for delivery Monday. So I'm glad to hear they're that good. You just never know what to expect on newer designs. But Drew has a pretty good vaper sense about what we want!

EDIT: Quick question, N2...are you using a 510/510 adapter? If not, would that help the draw?

Yes, I was watching the live feed. BTW... most of the mod hype was on the Eclipse, the Empire, and the Helix. Very little Darwin talk at the Vapefest. Must not be many of them out there yet? The Eclipse looks like the biggest innovation. But I can't get myself to part with that kind of cash until I see how the QC translates into a quality product. There is simply too much that can go wrong with a pv that is completely at the mercy of a computer chip and programming. Add to that potential issues with the autofeeder and I'm going to sit on the sidelines until I hear the "gotta have one of those" crowd chime in on ease of use and reliability. The Empire and the Helix are just big battery mods with the "shiny, shiny, pretty, pretty" thing going on. I must say though, that the Empire is one of the best looking mods I've seen and looks very well built. Additionally, just knowing Cisco's way, the Helix is surely a tank that will serve reliably. Be aware that the empire is a 901 native connection and get a 901-510 bridge and one of their super snazzy drip shields if you go with one.

There are also an insane number of new juices and juice vendors out there. I'm sort of getting to my "short list" of trusted vendors and favorite juices now, so I doubt I'll try all that many new vendors. My biggest worry with vaping, all along, has been being able to trust the people making the juices not to poison us, due to bad QC or cost cutting attempts that result in less than pure nic bases.

Oh retird....totally changing the subject. The one BE112 I used, definitely has a defect. It leaks out of only one of the vent holes and is responsible for the loose draw also. I tried a second one and no leaking and a pretty tight draw, unlike the first one.

So, you got one working for you?

I watched the video for the Eclipse a few times and it looks interesting. I'm not sure I'm buying into the automated dripper yet. Top right hand button is activate, what's the top left hand button for? One of the things that drove me to the Darwin was being able to see the volt, ohm and wattage for any atty or carto that I put on it. Just having an apple like capacitive touch adjustment, while cool looking, doesn't give me the info I'm looking for. I do like the standard battery that can easily be replace, or swapped out when the battery is out of juice. It's innovative, but how well will it work day in and day out?

Yep, 2nd one was a charm. I actually look like I know how to use this thing now! Awesome flavor tones that I never noticed before....wow! It's been a great Sunday paper vape with some BWB Malty Toffee.

Thats great, ... what I like is the cooler vapor and the fact that they are almost bullit-proof for longevity(just clean them every so-often, when the draw gets too tight)........like mentioned before, I have never popped one (YET)...

Those are some of my exact concerns also. Also, I have kind of gotten used to the "small" size of the Darwin, The Eclipse looks like a handful. Nice to have at home, but I don't see carrying it out and about. Whereas my Darwin goes everywhere with me so easily. My other concern is this type of Feeder technology is still so new, that it will be interesting to see how reliable it is, out of the gate. It is impressive though. However I still say the Darwin has set a high bar for my future devices.

If you picked those up at NHaler... they are not BE112s though. I talked to Drew about them a while ago and he can't get a decent arrangement with the producer of the true BE112's. His 801's are supposed to be as close as you can get to the same type of atty.

You can find them on other sites... but not with the same level of customer service we get from Drew. I'm going to try those dual coil 510 LR's from Drew next I think. I need to find something I like as well as the BE's, so I can one-stop shop with Drew.

It's funny that I didn't consider them to be so durable when I purchased them. I actually got nervous turning the wattage up the first time, thinking it might pop easily! But they are strong and really work like a champ.

I believe Drew's are 302's? Correct? I have the original BE112, not that it makes any difference from what I understand.
