That's some good info in those last two posts Nebula. Thanks for giving us darwin newbs the run down. I just got word that mine is already in the mail. I absolutely cannot wait. I have so many old attys and cartos to use! HV's, LR's, and SR's all in different variations, 801's, 901's, 510's, 306's..... Now I don't feel like I wasted my money on all that stuff!

I just got my Darwin today... Unfortunately, I will be returning it. Drew was kind enough to offer a full refund.

Problems other new owners should be aware of:
(1) Off position not working fully - stays on
(2) Broken corner off the gold button
(3) Gunk on the side of the gold cup with black unit (*perhaps it was formerly used).

It really is unfortunately since I was constantly refreshing on Friday and order within 3 mins of its release for the last shipment. However, I will most likely not wait around for the next shipment to reorder.

Customer service at Evolv is beyond fantastic. An email to them would have gotten you a very speedy response and likely a replacement Darwin within 24 hours.

The units come from Evolv and are shipped immediately...Im not really sure what the button thing is but the button is stamped brass and really cant "break off" so I will have to see what it is... But if you had requested a new unit we would have dealt with it differently, but since yu requested a refund, I just agreed...Either way Thanks for your interest in The Darwin and sorry it didnt work out.

I would just like to say
Drew's customer service is SUPERB and he responded within the hour of my inquiry.

My post was not a reflection on NHaler as a vendor but merely some things to look out for when receiving product. As Drew mentioned, these come and go immediately from Evolv. I'm sure the Darwin is an amazing product and congrats to new owners of the Darwin.

I spent ~ $1k during the last week ordering mods (not including atties,etc). Problems just kept mounting up. The USPS seems to have lost my REO Grand in the mail (or *more likely confiscated it thinking it was a bomb haha*).

I wasn't even thinking about the Darwin until I got an email from Drew from the mailing list for Darwin I signed up a couple weeks ago, so I figured I would purchase it - and sell it on classified if it wasn't to my liking. However, when I saw the button thing, the off prob, etc, I realized this would take significant resale value from the Darwin. I didn't try the Darwin at all, just to be sure that none of the problems would be my fault and didn't want to wait again for a new shipment (didn't realize this would be an option since it was out of stock) - didn't know how long that would take. So i asked for the refund.

Did I tell you what happened? I had a tree go down in my backyard. Now, this was a very tall large tree with no sign of disease or anything. Not only did it fall, but the roots pulled right out of the ground when it fell over!

My Darwin arrived in perfect condition and I'm loving it. So far no problems, it works beautifully. Customer service and 2 day delivery was fantastic. Thanks also for the sample dual, I haven't tried one yet. Sorry to hear about hillocks experience, but mine is fantastic, just thought I'd let you know. This is the first time I haven't found immediate dislikes with a mod.
