I know this sucks .... My whole upper body feels like I have been beaten with a baseball bat. I am totally sore from hacking for the past for days. This is no easy cough either it is a whole body shaker and hurts like hell with a fever thrown in for good measure. Get well soon KD
Also, I could be wrong, but think of it like this:
If Evolv did fold, the units would be that much more rare...and hence pretty serious collectables. It is an early run of a FIRST and unique product in a new and interesting industry. With all that in mind...in the very least...they'd probably offer up the firmware in case someone out there ever wanted to refurbish these somewhere down the road. As for the batterys and parts on the PCB...all can probably be replaced if you (or someone know) is into electronics enough to order duplicate or compatible parts.
If they stick it out for many years to come (which we all hope they will)...you'll be using the thing till you get tired of it, and still will probably be able to sell it if you do get tired of it.
I think your investmet is sound in a mod of this class

I will be using it until they offer up the next MOD. I am hoping and wishing much success for Evolve and I hope they continue the realtionship w/Drew and nHaler
You too! I'm sorry to hear it, and more sorry to be sharing it with you. I stopped coughing at all about a week after starting to vape, so this cough is shocking to say the least. It's a whole body cough, yes, and hurts my lungs.
