I'm thinking about getting one once I get my Darwin. I'd prefer something shorter, but with the connectors they use, that's probably as short as they can get it.

9/11 was pretty stressful here. Nothing like emergency responders that day of course, but it did ruffle my little world.

I was a high school band director at the time, and only days before I took tons of flack for spending too much time on teaching the flag code, and preparing the national anthem and such. We were 'in the way of the team' having the National Guard present the colors on the field pre-game, and the ceremony would be better 'off the field' and back in the end-zones or stands.

Then the towers fell. All of the sudden we weren't allowed to do ANYTHING but wave flags and play, "I'm proud to be an American" over and over again (even the national anthem took backseat to letting off red white and blue balloons and smoke bombs, and passing out thousands of little flags made in China to wave to POPriotic tunes). It was a mixed emotion, as it was a very small role to play in delivering some small assistance in the nation's healing, but it was also a nightmare in that very little of musical value was actually learned that year. People meant well in wanting to rally and display the colors, but I think more flags were dropped and trampled than were ever flown 'properly'.

Yes, I know it is small potatoes compared to people who actually lost loved ones, or were there that day trying to clean up the mess, or dealt with all the traffic in airports and public arenas, and on and on. Still, it reached out and changed our lives, and forced us to 'react' to our surroundings.

Before it was all said and done...I wanted to choke lots of folks, and lots of folks wanted to choke me.

However you choose to express your love for your country, I hope it is done with daily respect. Next time, lets not wait for the terrorists to force our hand, and lets not get so consumed with it that it changes everything we'd set out to do beforehand.

Just a wish......just one of the many emotions and struggles I personally had during the attack, and several months afterward. It did change my entire life and career...........as I'm sure it probably has all of yours as well.

Well said. Sometimes I think the overlooked tragedy of that day was the way we reacted as a nation. Namely, our willingness to give up our liberties in exchange for security, our involvement in an unnecessary war, and the seething hatred some showed toward Muslims. It was as if some of the most outwardly patriotic among us were turning their back on what America stands for. I think we took a step backwards after 9/11, but it was our own doing. This country has never really lived up to it's own ideology, but we are getting closer all the time.

Brazilleon, im vaping my gtank on darwin since gtank arrived last 9/6. very nice. consistent vape as i set regardless of changing resistance due to imperfect oxidation of wick. made myself an inch long gooseneck. now it closed with gtank attached.

Yep I am loving the vape I get through it. Glad to have switched from standard Indulgence to this VW.

Brazilleon....You can email the place you got your Gooseneck and get a smaller size like 2 inch or 1 inch just say it is for your Darwin...People have preferred the shorter ones on the Darwin from what I've read. The 3 inch one is a little too long from what I've read.

Just mailed them, but they said the 3" is made specifically for the darwin. 1 or 2 inches does sound a little better than 3, especially with the GTank attached. But I guess I'll have to stick with 3.

the three inch one is the smallest but its three inches alltogether with the ends, the actual size of the tube is only 1.5 inches i think. they have it as an option on the site now, so your good

I definitely think the 3 inch is going to be way too long that I ordered. Even the 1" with those connectors looks a little long.

yea if you got the 3 inch its the ne in that picture, the bendy part is 1.5 inches and the end caps add the rest


i read that somewhere, i forget where or i would quote it, mine hasnt come in yet, but thats my understanding.
