Still shows as shipping info received this is depressing. Only a couple states away amd it is stalled. I sure hope that it gets here tomorrow (unlikely) or I will have to wait another ten days to play with it (leaving for CA)

I am surprised that the boat load of snow on the NE coast hasn't slowed down the shipments coming out of NJ. Still says mine is in NJ, but good things come to those who wait.
*edit* Eww god I just saw that horribly tacky white squiggle line which appears to be a signature attempting to say Darwin on the very very very front of the device. If you are going to do a signature or marking it NEEDS to be on the bottom or back end. What a shame that would be if it were on all units statign the name of the device in unreadable text.
If it is Darwin's actual signature it is forgivable =)

First impressions, just opened the mail. For the love of Everything that is holy...this is Vaping Nirvana! Most solid, impressive mod I've ever seen, and hits like no other. No Other! I'm popping on all sorts of atties and cartos and hits like a dream every time. Time to pull out that stash of cartos I never used. And the 306 is now everything and more! This is the pv I've always dreamed of...and it's here, finally. Kudos Drew. Just Wow, Kudos. Now in the words of Drew, I'm off to "vape like a research monkey".
Mine got in reddirtland...a kindly postal clerk in my local office met me at the back door to hand me the package at 7am. (Jeff, you rock!)
It came ready to vape out of the box. Impressive. Hopefully will get a chance to charge it and play with it. This thing hits like a monster riding a freight train every time. I haven't deliberately tried, but I don't think I can flood this sucker with a LR510. Incredible with a 901 HV. Thinking the electronic doo hickeys may make it a lot safer for attys than your average HV vape.
No time for anything further....I'm running around all over the place like a scolded ape...make that research monkey. Will sit down and post further later tonight.
Oh, it uses the same charger as my ol' Motorola cell phone. Nice.

Package arrived ready to go and it is a sweet piece of art. Works as advertised and better. I am a chain vapor to the extreme. Highest Nic I can find. After taking a few hits on this bad boy i am going to have to lower my nic content. Have a massive buzz going right now. Not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

Indeed Angus! Got mine, and as a vapor of nearly 2 years and trying tons of different ones... I pulled the Darwin out of the box, added 2 drops on the atomizer and got the best hit out of a PV I have EVER gotten!

Hey everyone...Im glad they are starting to arrive...As someone mentioned, there was a storm that temporarily crippled the upper northeast in some parts but I think things are running normally now so hopefully people should get before the weekend...
Also these units are partially charged , but they should be charged a full 3 to 4 hours to get the full capacity out of the batteries.
Also there is no indicator for charging but if its pluggeg in, its charging. Thansk again everyone and enjoy!!!

I do not have a production unit yet. But, on the prototype - if you watch carefully when you plug in the charger into the device, you will see the green light on the charger dim a bit. You really have to watch for it and if there is bright light around, you might not notice. But, I can tell you this, this one charges every time it is plugged in - I have watched very carefully and not yet seen that light not dim. And, of course, I always find it fully charged a few hours (usually upon waking in the morning).
I was more interested in using another charger. Like the one for the iphone/ipad.. Car Charger...
I got rid of my provari to move to this model. Have to say it appears to have been a good decision. I was getting tired of having to press the button to make changes to the volts. I have a huge assortment of carts/atom's and all i need to do is spin a dial to make the correction.

Does the screen have a screen protector on it? Or a thin layer of plastic on it, to keep it from scratches until it reaches the end user?

Got mine today! Have only vape it but 10 min, cause I was at work so I will give my out of box 10 min experience, then a more extensive one later. My first observation is mine has a slight scratch on the front. No biggie it came pretty much fully charged. The weight is quite manageable feels extremely sturdy in your hand. I love the folding atty on off switch very efficient means to carry it without it firing. Would be nice to have some type of rubbery grip coating, or some type of top coat I think this will show wear with time I also find the adjustment wheel to be a bit loose meaning its a very subtle touch to go from 8.0 to 8.5 8.4 is in there but to easy to miss. So going .1 increments is a little touchy. Display shows voltage,amps and ohms (resistance I'm assuming) and battery gauge. No instruction manual just the charger cable. I started with a day old 510 cartomizer so I won't be able to comment on performance on the life of a carto. I have it set at 8.5 when I took a hit it showed 5 volts, 1.4 amps and 2.79 ohms. The cartos are supposed to be rated at 3.5 ohms. I'm not an electrical engineer so I don't know if a cartos resistance lowers or raises with use. Great hits of vapor and flavor! And each hit is exactly the same. So far I'm impressed! Now to put it through the paces of an evening at home . Will report back in a couple days with a more in depth performance review
