Does someone have the link to the eclipse?

Sent from my ADR6300

Gee nobody answered Krisb:

The Eclipse eq Personal Vaporizer (Patent Pending) [The Eclipse eq] - $0.00 | Best Electric Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette

Anyway Cuseguy and myself have a little agreement about practicing some restraint on this one. Site still says targeted date of March 2011 for shipment but it really does not look like they will hit that target. While this thing looks really cool I plan to sit tight untill at least 100+ units are shipped and we get some feedback. If it performs as stated then I will plunk my $250+ down. IMO it seems like a big gamble to be first in line for this unit but if you take one for the team please keep us posted and if you like it (when and if it hits the market) Cuseguy and I will be right behind you with our orders.

BTW - How does the 25th look? You still making the drive????

OH
L2s...thank you for responding. Was so not feeling the love, lol. It does look very cool, but maybe a bit too good to be true? Think I agree with you and cuse, going to wait till I see a bit of feedback on it first! If I didn't have a pv that I was happy with already, I would be more tempted.

And, YES, definitely making the drive. Probably leaving here the 23rd -27th. So need to take a few days! Sounds like that w/e works for you, know if its good for cuse???

Its just a variable voltage juice feeder right? or am I missing something? Theres no power regulation like the Darwin. Once you get used to the consistency of the Darwin, going back to a PV where you have to change batteries seems like a step backwards, but i guess thats just me...unless like i said i missed something

Yeah, you're right....I think I was misled as I was reading about it, that it had constant resistance sampling. But so does the ProVari and any number of PV's coming on the market. So they can display the resistance.....big whoop at this point, that is old news....but none of them still can actually process and make use of that information except for the Darwin.

Yup and its the processing of that information that leads to the oh so consistent vape that comes out of the Darwin. I am a few weeks in and every single "drag" is exactly the same. I use 808 cartos and they are notoriously inconsistent....one cart works great for weeks, one cart works for a day and some carts barely work at all....not on the Darwin. I have yet to have a cart give me a bad "drag". It truly is amazing to me. After almost 2 years of dealing with that issue it seems to be completely gone using the Darwin.....pure bliss. I dont even wanna get started thinking about the nightmare of charging batteries, keeping an extra set charged and on hand, the inconsistencies as they weaken........it was a mess.

You are right. The only reason I would want an Eclipse is for the auto juice feed. But that would probably be more a "cool/novelty" thing anyway LOL. Now the ultimate PV would have all the Darwin features and would have an auto juice feed with a 10+ml bottle. I would vape myself into a stupor hehehe

All this reading about the Darwin is KILLING me.

I'm still holding off and constantly checking the page to see if they are back in stock but since I've decided to go back to using PVs again after they worked so well for me almost two years ago I've been hating each one of my Pall Malls.

Still - I feel like I'm going to be blown away by this one considering how much I loved my Prodigy V1 that helped me kick the habit when I first discovered PVs.

looks like a ego-T copy to me.
But I am interested to hear your review of it. I would like something that can hold more juice, provided it gave good flavor & vape
I agree....not sure if thats a good thing, since I find ego-T's to be a little plasticky tasting. But we'll see and I'll let everyone know.
You know what is on the horizon?...and very close to release finally...is the Royal Smoker Giantomizers. From what we know though, if the form factor has stayed as originally designed, it won't let the arm close.....boooo

Yeah I'm not gonna jump on those. I'm afraid they are just going to be a new design of the CE2's/Clearo's. Not a fan of those, and I'm betting these will just be a larger version with the same basic (flawed) design.

So -

I know I've posted that I'm about to jump back into e-cigs but I need some recommendations so I can have all my parts/accessories/et cetera by the time I'm able to order the Darwin.

I've already got some juice ordered but -

When I used to vape I normally switched between an 801 and 510. I almost always used the 801 on my Prodigy V1 and then on my S6 when I got that.

I've seen that 510s seem to be the most used atty now and I always loved it but can anyone recommend which they feel work best with the Darwin so I can get a good supply on hand? Also - I know it adjusts based on the resistance of the atty but should I be looking at standard resistance or HV attys?

As far as drip tips - I almost always exclusively dripped and just "tail-piped" it on my 801s but I'm looking to probably try out some drip tips and see how that goes. I'm REALLY interested in the looks of the MAP tank and I'm a bit curious about cartomizer's as well. Any ideas or opinions?

Anything else you think I should have on hand so that when I get the Darwin I'm able to throw out my Pall Malls?

Thanks for all the help! Didn't want to start a new thread but if you feel like this should be in a new one just let me know.

To a large degree it is just a personal preference. Even with my Darwin, however, I prefer the 801 atty. At the Atlanta Vape Fest several 510 users told me they "re-discovered" the 801 atty after getting the Darwin and prefer it because with the Darwin you can get a great throat hit with the 801 but taste the flavor of the liquid more. I use the BE112 (801) atty from BestEcig and the mini-801 from IKENVAPE, as well as the 801 cartomizer from nhaler and the one from MadVapes. They all do quite well on the Darwin.

wv, just curious, how would you compare the 801 carto to other Boge 510 & 808 cartos? BTW, you might try the Joye 302 with stealth adapter turned in snuggly (not torked but snug) into atty first. They can take a couple hours to really break in.
