You should be getting constant numbers in all 3 upper display numbers: Volts, Amps and Ohms, when the firing button is depressed. They read zeros when it is not firing.

Ahh awesome!

I saw that now - hrmm... is it safe/not safe to fire it without inhaling or does that really matter? As long as the atomizer is juiced up I should be good to go to check out the numbers right?

(BTW - KICKING my ... so far - this is a piece of magic guys. Things have changed since I originally got on vaping back in 2009. Time to throw out my analogs.)

I'll be in Myrtle Beach for a little R&R with friends that live there on Wednesday NCVL.....I could.....umm....stop by your mailbox and pickup your Darwin and keep it......I mean... keep it safe...yeah that's what I meant!

Okay, sure.....NOT!!!:p I'm gonna have a hard enough time keeping it away from hubby! I'm just gonna have to tell him to vape his new iPhone instead! As Daffy Duck would say, "It’s mine, all mine! You understand?! Mine, mine!! Go, go, go!! Out! Out! Out! Mine! Mine! Mine!"

Sure as long you're atty is wet, fire it up to check your numbers all you want. If you can't quit analogs using the Darwin, you just can't quit. It's that good.

Whew! Did it since and AMAZING!

Yea, I quit before using my Prodigy V1 so should be no problem with this Darwin.

Kind of worried since I don't have a back-up but I can pick up something down the road since this broke the bank. Wanted to get something awesome though out the door this time coming back to PVs instead of a bunch of starter kits and a few mods.

This is unbelievable, my shipping notice went out last Saturday. The mailman came early today and left me a little present. I've got my Darwin and it's on charge for a while to condition the battery.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Drew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's so much better looking in person. I'm going to charge the unit for an hour and then I'll give more impression.

There's really no need to "condition" LiPo cells. Use it today and then charge it tonight for 8-10 hours so that it is completely charged. I charge mine every night or two, depending on usage.

I MUST charge mine every night. I have learned from 3 non-charging experiences that I will only get an hour from it the next day if I forget to charge it. These 3 "bad" experiences have also caused me to go purchase a USB charger for my office and a car charger for the car. So now I'm good to go even if I forget to charge (which I did last night! LOL)

I expect a full stalker report,.....errr... status report on those new Darwinians that are out for delivery today. I am only on a mini-stalk today, not big enough for USPS to send out the decoy mailman or anything. But Nhaler orders always make Monday a little better.

Just back at the house, and "stalked the tracking" and " Electronic Shipping Info Received" has not changed....Feeling left out(hehe)....I'm jealous now, since others are vaping their's already.....maybe the mailman will suprise me when he comes.....

retird, I keeping my fingers cross for you!

First impressions

Smaller than I imagined from looking a pictures. I fits in the hand very nicely. Has a good weight to it but not too heavy that it would become a PITA. Very nicely made, there are no rough edges, everything aligns properly and from a functional POV, everything works smoothly.

It looks a lot more discrete than I thought it would. It's not a big chrome pipe.

On function, the Darwin clearly shows the weakness of my other batteries. I started way too high on the wattage. I was able to quickly dial down to just the right balance between vapor production and taste. Simple with immediate feedback on Volts, Ohms and Wattage. It's really addictive knowing the ohms for a carto or atty under load. I've tried six different cartos and attys in 20 minutes. I was able to quickly dial in the perfect wattage with each one, making a mental note of the wattage setting with each device. Once you use a variable voltage device it's like a revelation, you're no longer searching for the right atty or carto to match up with your battery. Use whatever you want with whatever juice you want and just dial it in.

So after all of this verbiage, it comes down to this. This kit is freaking awesome!

He did, Cuse. I got his email. So xxxxx fingers and toes (and eyes) for me!

Love your tag line, btw. Wow, you have a birthday coming up in a couple of months. One year? That's (ahem) aweso. ;)

Yeah, one official year. But I dabbled for a year before that. Dabbling = Smoking analogs and vaping at the same time...lol

:) another Darwin day! Congrats to all.

I'm having a bleh juice day, think I overvaped last few days, lol. Everything tastes synthetic to me...hope this doesn't last long!

Aww my poor little krisb having a bad juice day :( I lucked out...Drew inadvertently sent me a vapefest bag with a couple of new flavors in it. At least I assume they are new. Good stuff too....
