So when I emailed evolv, they said that we (my wife & I) might be the first Darwin couple LOL. Anyone else here have a husband & wife Darwin team?

My wife and I both have darwins. At first she couldn't get over the looks of it. As she uses it, though, she appreciates its consistency more and more. She also likes not having to carry around spare batts. I, on the other hand, can't put my darwin down. All my other mods have become backups.

A VERY smart move! After spending tons of cash (though I still loved my Riva when I had it) I've finally found the one that I use every day, all day.

I really don't remember how I lived without variable wattage.

I actually love my little Riva as well. He's quite dapper. I much prefer it to my Ego, who is well, too ego driven. I also adore my Bartleby and he is my "go to" babe. The Darwin will sit in a place all of his own tho. My knight in shining armour is really going to sweep me off my feet!

(Am I the only woman who looks at her PVs as lovers? LOL!)

My wife got her Darwin yesterday. And immediately started girly-fying it by adding some shiny things on it LOL. Unfortunately we discovered a problem with her Darwin last night- the arm sometimes when you swing it to the off position, it doesn't turn off. Likewise when it is off, if the arm gets barely a nudge the screen turns on with the arm still in the off position. I have already emailed evolv about it, and I'm sure they will take care of us. Needless to say my wife is really bummed out that she will need to send it back already. But the problem doesn't render it un-usable. So for now she is happily vaping on it.

N2rock, would you share a pic of your wife's girly-fried Darwin? I'd love to see what she did.

My wife didn't like the Darwin's looks either- said it was "too masculine". But now she is tired of having to change batteries repeatedly thru the day, and the inconsistent drags. So last week when she said "Ya know, maybe I need to quit worrying about how masculine the Darwin looks", I knew that was my cue to order one for her. In just one day she already loves her Darwin.

Sorry, we didn't take any pictures. Once we realized it was going to need to go back to evolv, she removed all the "pink shiny things" LOL. As soon as we get the new Darwin, I'm sure she will start decorating it immediately. I'll be sure to post some pictures for you.

She is just doing that so you don't steal hers when you forget to charge yours. Man I hope you don't grab the wrong one running out the door one day. The guys would have a field day with all the girly bling bling on it when you pull it out.

OK- we both drive Jeeps- mine is an '07, hers is an '08. The keys look identical. But the keychains OTOH- uh, not identical (to say the least LOL). I can't tell you how many times I've grabbed what I thought was my key, only to get out to the Jeep and see I'm holding Hello Kitty keychain in my hand LOL

Fresh Link to the manual!!!!

It is a testament to this device (being the first of its kind with a wattage control function) that no manual is even needed to operate it. I was vaping it right out of the box. Additionally, a two year warranty on the device and a one-year full warranty on the battery is AWESOME. Is there anybody else out there that has a warranty that compares? I haven't heard of any other batteries that come with a guarantee.

Soooo many pages of instructions, I hope I can remember all of them (just kidding)......

Ordered a few "bobbles and bangles" last night and a few small bottles of juice to sample......looked for USA mix flavor doubler, but did not see it.....if I missed it, will get it next time.....

I just wanted to let everyone know my recent experience with Evolve. I purchased the Darwin when it first came out. I think it's been close to a few months now. The last week or so when I would flip the arm up, sometimes it would not turn on. I would have to flip it up and down a few times and it would eventually work. I emailed Evolve letting them know. They responded within a few hours. I was told they would send a new one out, and to send back mine. Not only did they send me a replacement, but they overnighted it to me! Just wanted to share with the board how they went above and beyond. It cost them $18.00 to do so. If something else comes up, I'm going to kindly ask them to send it regular mail. :)

For the folks reading this forum trying to decide on buying a Darwin or not, I want to share something else. Lately, a few of my atty's for some reason have lost some ohms. On another mod I use, I have no way of knowing until I get an error, or the atty starts getting hotter than normal. With the Darwin, it automatically changes the volts so I'm not using to many volts on a lower ohm atty. I might not sound like a big deal, but when you actually are using that feature, it really is a big deal. That along with the no hassle battery make this to me the PV to get.

Thanks for listening!

Let me guess....

Step 1: Attach atomizer
Step 2: Raise atomizer arm
Step 3: Select wattage
Step 4: Press power button
Step 5: Vape like research monkey

:)

I approve this revision to the manual! Seriously not much more to say.

Congrats to all new Darwinians! Welcome to the family! Work's been a bear so I missed my favorite part of your initiation, Active Stalking Phase II. (Phase I is waiting for shipment to post to the USPS site. Phase II is when I feel sorry for mail carriers everywhere.) Actually just taking a break, trying to find a second - or third - wind to finish this !@#$. Saturday I'm going to brew the biggest cup of tea, line up a buncha attys and catch up on the goings on so PLEASE stay lively and enjoy!

Hang in there SK. Work is funny like that, just when you think you can not humanly take on anymore you find out you can. Welcome to the land of doing more with much much less while corporate profits rise and no heads are added! I know I live it too. At least I can vape in the office and do so like a fog machine.
