I'm sure some will complain about this (just like they do about the 12.7 of the Darwin, which is a pointless complaint solely to be a PITA IMHO), but to be honest the only time I turn it up that high or higher is for dual coils, so regardless of that limit I'll definitely be looking forward to getting one ;-)

Indeed. 10 watts is fine most of the time :D

Yeah, Brandon told me he expects The Kick to be out within a few weeks. The thing is soooo unbelievably small!
I think I see a juice feeding Power regulated Kick mod in my future......almost never use the VV mods I made any more......can't wait......going to be fun building this.....

just send an email to drew regarding my darwin dying. Just got it a week ago and it was vaping bliss. Unfortunately it looks like some liquid probably got inside.

Hope I can get this resolved quickly.
If it's truly just liquid that got into the pcb, it may resolve itself once it dries up. It's happened numerous times before, sometimes good, sometimes bad.

This is the gray that mine is, though this is not mine**. Mine has better CNC milling, perhaps multiple passes. I thought I recalled hearing these were limited to 3 amps, but these pics don't overtly appear to be 'shopped. 4/10 of an ohm? It may have been just running on a dummy load. But still.....

I have an Ego Booster I use for traveling, but I've become so attached to my Darwin, I made an impulsive decision and took it with me to Jakarta this week. Security there went nuts. I had to vape it for 4 different people to get on my flight back home. Guess, they are not ready to Evolve :). On the plus side, I may have broken in security there for the next Darwinian.

Same color I have, so is this gun metal?

This is so odd. I now have no idea what color my D'win is. I thought it was black, but it could be gunmetal, or deep dark gray, or it could be clouded dark blue or charcoal, but it's definitely not fuscia.

And I have never seen a "W" on mine. I think that stands for Wine, no?

If you haven't already tried...Do check your charger just in case.

More often than not, it's the charger gone bad rather than the Darwin. Battery runs down...can't get enough juice to revive.
