Sounds like (from what I've read so far) that it might be a best bet to get them straight from Drew, or from the other 'solid' vendors (Cisco, Empire).

That's just it ... nhaler doesn't seem to carry a GoGo adapter at all and until recently I hadn't seen any that looked different from the ones I had/have (and even those were hard to find "in stock". The ones I just ordered appear to be a relatively new item, though it's quite possible I just missed them before. Fingers crossed, as the GoGo cartos are a great relatively long-lasting solution on the Darwin and with a shorty extender the arm can still be closed.

Ski P.M. me your number as I'm about to try this again after Christmas.
I'm tried of buying stuff that I don't like.

lowboy number sent.

@MWA family Darwin member is sending samples of those juices so we will keep you posted. I can not promise success but you will never catch a fish unless you throw a line in. Why don't we do this. Once I get them I will ping you. I would like to know what you are tasting. We will then add you in the loop. I will try to clone them then send out a test batch. We will then have you and the other Darwin family member provide tweak suggestions to the recipe. I will then apply tweaks and send another batch. If we get it right we will lock the recipe and I will share. Nothing ventured nothing gained right???

I only use 3 vendors for Nic, Levy from Extreme vping dot com,,, Andrew from crystalclear vaping dot com, and just tried Randy from RTS dot com. All 3 of these guys seem to have a high quality of Nic. I do however like the fact that Randy from RTS is using a USA North Carolina grown Tobacco and using an extraction Lab in NC or Phila. At least we know exactly where it is coming from and have a bit more monitoring availability but all 3 seem to have a good clean grade of Nic.

It really pisses me off what Box Elder has done and I would NEVER buy there Nic and NEVER have thankfully ! I really wish that someone would come out with a simple dip strip type of test other then the one that is available on ebay, this would come in very handy for the non chemist type DIY'ers and allow for a quick mg test.

Sad day today as my Darwin died.

The button has been really flaky for the last few weeks. I'd have to fiddle with where I was placing pressure to get it to fire and even when it did fire it would cut in and out. This morning it finally decided to give out on me. I opened it up to find the two front joints broken and the button swinging freely like a six year old's loose tooth. Twenty minutes (and a little solder and glue) later, life has been restored to Darwin. Disaster averted.

Phew...

Clearly YOU have idea what you are doing and certainly happy to hear you averted...

However, having been into Darwins from the beginning, I think it is important to remind all following this thread that opening Darwins voids the warranty. Evolv has the best customer service I have ever seen in vaping. I'd encourage people who may run into any functionality concerns to contact Evolv and not open their Darwins. Why risk losing the warranty?

Again, to Lib, glad you are back in action.

Fellow Darwinians - I know some of you like me are into DIY. I am not sure if you have been following the Box Elder debacle but Kut just posted some results of his extensive titration work. I am not an alarmest but if you do have any BE nic in your inventory please check it and if it does not seem right chuck it. It is a small price to pay for safety.

Thanks for the heads up. I have removed them from my bookmarks.

I apologize if it sounded like I was advocating that Darwin owners should take it upon themselves to fix their own broken Darwins. That certainly wasn't my intention.

I opened it up because of the symptoms I was experiencing before the failure and I feel comfortable enough with electronics to do the work myself. The Darwin is easily my favorite mod and just thinking about sending it across country for repair and being without it for an extended period of time brought a tear to my eye. I'm just glad it was a simple fix.

There are times that I've gone to the box 2 or 3 times hoping my shipment came early. Think my neighbors are probably wondering what's wrong w/ me and why I'm so obsessed w/ mail. I do have to stop buying and selling mods though - think I've been a wee bit obsessed w/ the buying/selling thing. Hopefully this will keep me happy for a while.

lol, huff, my girlfriend has started giving me crap about the sheer number of packages I've been getting. between buying new stuff (good sales, new flavorings, etc), buying used stuff and trades i've got a steady stream large enough to keep my local post office in business all by myself :p
