I just got this pretty badass io6 Pyrex drip tip. Love it, but Darwin won't close : ( : (

Does someone make a gooseneck thats not crazy long? Maybe just a little guy?
I'd say first try a 1" 510 to 510 extender - has worked for me with things that would not otherwise allow the arm to close - like Ego mega DC. Otherwise https://www.ttteliquids.com/Shop/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=28 and you can choose the 3" version (shortest listed). You can try contacting them and asking if there is any chance they could make one shorter as a custom order (possibly cutting down the end pieces and/or minimizing the flex length). I don't know if they will do it or not but nothing to lose by asking.

Hey!

Is anyone using a DCA 306 on the Darwin? Does the arm close with it on there? I prefer 306 attys, so this would be my fantasy setup.

Thanks.

I used to use the 306DCA until I got the i06DCA which is even bigger and it closes just fine with one extra extender on top of the one that is threadlocked on the device. Just try to run it somewhat dry before closing and pocketing because juice is known to leak from the DCA sometimes and it will be sitting right on top of the button pretty much ;)

I've asked them before, I got a negatory on that one.

Battery question.........

I got 14 hours of run time yesterday on my Darwin before the battery was drained and would not fire. I started the day with a full charge. I was pretty busy at work also, so it wasn't like i was chain vaping all day. I would say it was a moderate vaping day. I ran it with a 2.5ohm Cisco 510 set at 8.6 watts.

After reading about the stellar battery life on the Darwin, i kind of expected more life.

Here is my question: If this were the case with your Darwin, would you send it in for a battery swap?

suggestion...never run the battery to cut off....I vape all day from 6 am till 11 pm, charge overnite....no problems..I vape about 3 ml per day....if you feel you need to get the battery replaced, contact Evolv....had mine replaced after a year.....and you say it is only a few months old...did you get the order info from the person you got it from...you need that for any future warranty protection....

well, I'd let a few others chime in on this. I think I can get a good bit more than that out of mine though. Also, it's not good to let the battery completely drain. If that's been done a lot with it , that my shorten the life of the battery. Good thing is, if the Darwin is only a few months old they should be able to get the battery replaced for free.

This is probably NOT a problem with the battery. 14 hours is not bad at all.

that seems like a pretty decent vape time off of a darwin battery, in my opinion! offhand, has anyone ever tried to change the battery themselves rather than have it serviced by brandon?
Voids the device warranty if you open a Darwin
