Can the line V2 be closed on the Darwin with or without attachments?

You just need a 510 adapter. Which you should have on the Darwin anyways to keep juice out of the brass arm. That one pictured is two adapters stacked, two 510/510. 510/ego adapters, because of their length, your able to just use one instead of stacking two 510/510 adapters. Such as the one from ikenvape.com. As pictured on the other one here.

Can't recall mine doing that but I almost guarantee that if you send Brandon an email he will let you know soon.....:)

Hey Keeno, was planning to do that but thought I post and maybe I would get an experience from a Darwinian :)
Thank you for your reply though...I appreciate it :)

The screen blink is normal. It's a D'win self-check.

Hello Katdarling, I guess thats a good thing...self check is always good. Thank you ma'am for replying. ;)

some of the earlier releases blink (i have only seen the white screens do this) while i have never seen a blue screen blink.

Hey patch, spot on! Mine is the white screen and an earlier release too...no clicky arms :( Thank you patch!!

Happy to be a Darwinian :D

Again I apologize for those that didnt get in or if the notification was not received...Apparently there was a problem with the notification system also...I haven't really figured out what, but either way the demand right now is exceeding the demand and we are working on a solution. That probably sounds kind of lame, but its the truth and the best I can do right now. Sorry,
Drew

I have been wanting one of these for 6 months. Last night I got one. After sleeping on it, all I have now are RBAs. None of them are going to work, or look half way decent on the Darwin. I will forfeit mine to whoever Drew feels should get it.

Maybe one of those who had to be refunded....:)

:2cool:

The one I got is going to a buddy of mine who just didn't have the cash at the moment last night and who has been waiting for one for very long time and hasn't has the privilege of owning one, yet.

congrats to all new owners on the V2. you will love it. do these have the new dna 20 board or its the same as in the 1st Darwin. i really do not think i will need 20 watts. i was doing about 17 watts other day and it was way too much. but i was fooling around with a buddy and we started "who can do higher watts" and i lost at 17 watts. but i had 30 years on him so i should have gotton spotted lolol. WTG new Darwin owners.

A thought just occurred to me ... if the site "crash" was caused by the wolf pack of buyers that were alerted by the idiotic posting of the confidential NOTIFICATION email that Drew sent out, couldn't the names of buyers be cross-referenced against the names of people who received notifications? If you weren't notified, then you should have had no legitimate way to know about the sale ... unless you just happened to stumble across the Darwin page in those crucial 5-10 minutes when the orders overflowed the inventory. I can see that happening, maybe, with one random person, but not with the crowd that showed up.

To me, if you weren't notified, you weren't invited, and you shouldn't have been able to buy ... you kinda crashed our party (innocently, of course ... the people who saw the notice on FB's Deals & Steals can't be faulted for jumping on something hot). Maybe, if someone had to be disappointed, it should have been the accidental party crashers? In any event, it's too late now, and it wouldn't be fair to snatch the rug out from under someone at this late date ... never mind me; I'm just musing ...

I have not gone through the last couple [pages but I see that there was a sale for Darwins, I am kinda bummed because I did not get the notification email! I am positive that I was suppose to be because I contacted Drew after I sent the request because I didnot recieve a reply and was afraid I may not be on the list since I did not hear back, I was assured that I was on the list but received no notification. Ah well, I do have one anyways so I can not complain to much, hopefully this is the start of a flood of Darwins.

I also had asked to be on the notification list, twice, looking forward to the newest version....as well as the Opus notification list. I didn't get an email this time. I hope when you put the Darwin back on site that it lists the new features if there are any. And my green screen Darwin does the blinky self check, BTW. It's in the shop at the moment getting checked out as I described earlier in the thread.
