A thought just occurred to me ... if the site "crash" was caused by the wolf pack of buyers that were alerted by the idiotic posting of the confidential NOTIFICATION email that Drew sent out, couldn't the names of buyers be cross-referenced against the names of people who received notifications? If you weren't notified, then you should have had no legitimate way to know about the sale ... unless you just happened to stumble across the Darwin page in those crucial 5-10 minutes when the orders overflowed the inventory. I can see that happening, maybe, with one random person, but not with the crowd that showed up.
To me, if you weren't notified, you weren't invited, and you shouldn't have been able to buy ... you kinda crashed our party (innocently, of course ... the people who saw the notice on FB's Deals & Steals can't be faulted for jumping on something hot). Maybe, if someone had to be disappointed, it should have been the accidental party crashers? In any event, it's too late now, and it wouldn't be fair to snatch the rug out from under someone at this late date ... never mind me; I'm just musing ...
