Laurel (laurel099) and I saw this in Sarasota yesterday. It's very inspiring. I'm not a big documentary person but this is worth seeing. I'm also not big on seeing something twice but I'm hoping this will be released on DVD sometime in the future. There are so many pertinent points in it that I know I'm going to forget.
In a nutshell, the director asks some of today's biggest thinkers two questions: What's wrong with the world? and How can we fix it? It's all about how we, each individual, is connected to everything else in the world. One of the things that simply amazed me was that during a world crisis, such as the tsunamis, when so many people are focused on one thing, that aggregate of focused energy affects random number generators...they quit RANDOMLY generating numbers but generate them in a pattern. JUST AMAZING!! The other thing that amazed is that yogurt responded to a person's thoughts!! Really makes you think about your own impact on the world.
