Everything you ever wanted to know about E-cigarettes can be found right here on the ECF. Pick a topic...Any related topic and you will find a discussion on that subject. Try to think of a topic that hasn't been discussed and archived some where on the ECF. Good Luck.

Collectively the ECF membership is the most knowledgeable group on the planet! Collectively, the ECF has the potential of being a force to be reckoned with.

Many discussions start by focusing on current issues as well as Alerts and Calls to Action...requesting we make phone calls, sign petitions, write letters etc. Some respond and throw buckets of water on one fire and then it seems like 4 other fires pop up.

Even if we win...The fight isn't over. There will always be groups popping up with reasons we should not be allowed to vape here or there. If we don't respond "in force" we will loose ground and end up right back where we are now, or worse.

Picture this...a flying saucer lands on the White House lawn and out pops an alien. The alien asks the president...Who represents planet Earth?

Picture this...a flying saucer lands in the ECF's front yard and the alien asks...Who represents the Electronic cigarette movement? Take me to your leader.

I suggest that it is possible to come together (merchants and users) and put our resources (time and money) together and join and support CASAA and or the NVC. Most individuals would find it easier to join and support one of the two instead of both at the same time.

The ECF then could spear-head fund raising campaigns to provide the funds these organizations need to carry on the fight which would include research as well as hiring staff and excellent legal representation.

What the movement needs is Strong "Well Funded" leadership backed by thousands of dedicated members. "Money talks and B__ S__ walks"

Today, no one thinks twice about attacking our cause.

Everyone thinks twice before messing with the NRA.
Poke that "hornet's nest"...You will get stung!

Food for thought...

Found this transcript of an interview with Emord by Jon Rappoport, described as a medical investigative reporter.

Thanks for the transcript.

I was very upset the other day when Coast to Coast removed the interview from YouTube. What a loss to the general public, members of this forum, and the many others in a fight with the FDA. The YouTube interview was linked on many websites as well as mentioned in many posts in other discussion groups. I sent Attorney Emord an email explaining the loss and asked if the interview could be returned to YouTube.

Just got through doing an extensive Internet search and found several short YouTube interviews and other documents of interest. Will post the list with links soon. The original interview is gone but a lot of information remains on the Net.

Jonathan Emord is a true freedom fighter.

Just a few informative posts focused on the ugly reality of the world we live in. These posts were only offered as references.

We all now can agree (for example) it would not be productive to make phone calls to the FDA or send them emails and signed petitions. Waiving the "Flag of Truth" in front of people (and organizations) who couldn't care less is a waste of time and energy.

The ECF can be a Force to be Reckoned With

Words used by Politicians
The late George Carlin at the National Press Club

Politicians have perfected the art of "Controlled Confusion"

George Carlin was my favorite comedian. For those who
are not familiar with the name...See Biography below the video.

George Carlin
(May 12, 1937 – June 22, 2008) was an American stand-up comedian, social critic, actor, and author, who won five Grammy Awards for his comedy albums.

Carlin was noted for his black humor as well as his thoughts on politics, the English language, psychology, religion, and various taboo subjects. Carlin and his "Seven Dirty Words" comedy routine were central to the 1978 U.S. Supreme Court case F.C.C. v. Pacifica Foundation, in which a narrow 5–4 decision by the justices affirmed the government's power to regulate indecent material on the public airwaves.

The first of his 14 stand-up comedy specials for HBO was filmed in 1977. In the 1990s and 2000s, Carlin's routines focused on the flaws in modern-day America. He often commented on contemporary political issues in the United States and satirized the excesses of American culture. His final HBO special, It's Bad for Ya, was filmed less than four months before his death.

Carlin placed second on the Comedy Central cable television network list of the 100 greatest stand-up comedians, ahead of Lenny Bruce and behind Richard Pryor. He was a frequent performer and guest host on The Tonight Show during the three-decade Johnny Carson era, and hosted the first episode of Saturday Night Live.

The Internet is the source we turned to for the Truth

We no longer "blindly" believe the News media and information provided by Big Pharma, our Government and its Agencies.

Is Internet Censorship in our future?

Google "Internet Censorship" Click Here

YouTube search "Internet Censorship" Click Here

I wonder what we would see next year...if we repeated the same searches.

Today, in America, the Internet is a fantastic source for information. Unfortunately, there are a number of countries who have lost their bragging rights.

The Internet plays a crucial role in campaigning for our cause.

Precious Liberties...If we don't fight for them, we will lose them. Jonathan Emord

Great read. I found the following to be something that most citizens don't seem to understand

As a result, today over ninety percent of all federal law is not the product of our elected representatives but regulation promulgated by unelected heads of the bureaucratic agencies. We founded this country on the notion that no American should be taxed without being represented, and yet today we are taxed and those who create almost all laws governing us are unelected. James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, and George Washington each stated that if ever our country were to reach a point where legislative, executive, and judicial powers were combined in single hands that would be the end of liberty and the birth of tyranny. Sadly, I believe we are there. A bill I wrote for Ron Paul would restore constitutional governance by preventing any regulation from having the force of law until it was passed into law by Congress in the way the Constitution requires. That bill, the Congressional Responsibility and Accountability Act, is pending in Congress.

Emphasis mine.

And for those not understanding what the FDA is trying to push E cigs into

Because it costs on average about $600 million to get a drug approved in the United States, tens of thousands of potential therapeutic agents are never legally available to treat patients and, thus, secure a monopoly for drug companies in the treatment of Americans. FDA is an example of industry capture.

That's not including the years, potentially over a decade, to get or not get their blessing.

Well, let's think about that for a minute. Remember that Emord tells us that high-ranking FDA apppointed officials usually end up working in a highly paid position by the pharmaceutical company whose products they supported during their FDA tenure. So who do you think Josh Shafstein wants to work for when his FDA stint is up: GlaxoSmithKline or NJOY?

The answer to that question will help you figure out whether ecigs are likely to get FDA blessing as an NRT.

Delinquent and Out of Control "Brat"

The FDA is Congress' "Delinquent & Out of Control" Brat

They gave birth to it, empowered it, and continue to support it.
They refuse to supervise or take any responsibility for the actions of its Brat.

The FDA’s decisions and censorships have caused hundreds of thousands of deaths...here and around the world. The parent (Congress) has stood by, doing nothing, proclaiming their hands are clean and shouldering no responsibility.

If you or I had a child with such a track record...We would be quickly arrested, tried, convicted, and sentenced to death.

The Congress has the power to clean out the FDA...But doing so would not be in its financial best interest.

So...In my opinion, "We The People" have a choice to make and really shouldn't just take the (safe easy-out) position the only things we can do is educate and beg.

The message we should send to our elected officials:

Eradicate the FDA and start over...or we will clean out your "House"
