The eGo/Echo Kuwako Thread

Hello Tx and all

Im putting together a cost of adding this Kuwako together so I can run it by the CFO of the household.
If I remember correctly Tx you said and ECHO 1300 auto and the Echo 3mil carto

Just looking for the best prices and any other ways to put this all together.

Im only starting week 4.
Using a VOLT and love it, but wanted to add something that I can pick up and go out for the day and not have to worry about battery going dead.

I have smoktek book marked, for the batteries and the Echomiser I believe.

Any other possible setup that would work good and last long time.

The echo is the best 808 battery that I have used. Sorry but I know nothing about the Kuwako. There are several other posters on this thread who know a lot more than me.

The Echo battery and the Echo clearomizer work great!!
The Echomizer is awesome too . (I am using one right now)

The only downside to the clearomizer is that some juices don't act well with them (crack or eat the plastic)

So far that is looking like the way to go, seems so far to be the consensus.

Mountain Vapor, Northwest Vapors and Cropduster 901 are the best places for the echo. Some of the kits come with dual coils so watch out. Most of us prefer the singles but try both because I don't care for when people try to convince me of something with status quo. All the suppliers are awesome and will probably try to accomodate any request. Vapor girl is good too and the only reason Smok Tek is not on the list is because he's out of kits but I believe he still has 1300 batteries. You need the hangsen charger so when all is said and done you can get a kit for $40-50. The kuwako is about $15. You will probably be able to get everything you need for about $75 with shipping

Sorry for getting off-topic here but we have some sharp people on this thread. Today I received a Vision CE4+ V3. This is the version with the longer wicks. So far I am really liking this thing. There are 3 things I like about it...

1) The drip tip will not fall out because it is threaded. 2) It's easy to see the liquid level. 3) It is easier to fill than polyfill cartos. No dripping and waiting, just squirt it in.

But I am occasionally getting slightly burnt/dry hits. I vape heavy on the VG. Boba's Bounty for example. Does this carto not play well with heavy VG?

Never try the longer wicks but it's common for CE4+ to get burnt/dry hits if the wick is dry, thus the practice of tilting CE4+ to make sure the wick & coil always wet. PG or VG doesn't really matter.

Longer wick supposed to eliminate those 'tilting practice' but I guess the long wick is not wicking heavy VG too well (as my experience with the latest Flüxomizer) so you might need to tilt the clearos just to make sure the liquid reached the coil.

Thanks Clove. I've been vaping this carto all day and it's just not hitting consistently. Some hits are excellent and others are dry. Oh well. That's life in the vaping world. Still got my trusty ol' Resurrectors.

you can also try pulling up on the rubber cap that the tip screws on to. (The part with the metal piece attached.) It can get pushed down to far and pinch the wicks. If you stick a pin in the metal hole, you can wiggle it up a little. While you are there, fluff the wicks a little with the pin. Let the screw on cap push the rubber back down as you tighten it. Just don't overtighten or you'll be back where you started. Just tighten to the resistance point.

But yeah, get used to tipping it. It's why we like using the kuwako with these because it forces us to keep them horizontal.

I picked up a dse 601 pipe on Memorial Day sale from DV for 30.00. I've been eyeballing them for 2 1/2 years and couldn't pass up the sale. lol It is beautiful and very well made out of Rosewood. I thought at first it wasn't going to produce a good enough vape to even use it but after filling the cart with more juice it took off and has been vaping pretty good since. I'm going to save it for special occasions and not use it too often because the atomizer is part of the pipe head and when they burn out they are about 30.00 to replace. It is an auto that responds to a very light puff but when you give a light pull it has about a two second cutoff. If you do a steady hard draw it stays on as long as I can drag on it.
If I would have paid full price for it I probably would have been disappointed but for 30 bucks I got a beautiful pipe that is definately an eye pleaser and I'm happy with it.

I have to ask one more time. Has anyone found a good performing eGo/510 auto? I asked Vicki at Cignot and yes she has them but prefers not to sell them. Gotta appreciate her honesty.

Nope not yet! Always looking. There are several different 808 fat bat autos that work good but I've tried two or three different ego type without success.

I think they get from one to three months with heavy use. I'm hoping mine lasts a lot longer being as I'm only using it at special times.

Thanks, that's what I thought. The only auto getting decent reviews is the Janty Neo but it costs $30.

I forgot about the Janty Neo but yeah the 30.00 price stopped me on that one too.
I am supposed to get a replacement from Vaporgirl but it has been well over a month and she hasn't sent another one yet.

I got one of the 650 mah 510 autos from Liberty Flights a couple of months ago and it has performed flawlessly for me.... seems to take longer to charge than any of my other Ego batteries but I can live with that. I use it with a 'Stardust' type clearos mainly and works like a champ....
