Well, you've got to have an unplugged hole in a Genisis atty to allow for juice to flow. Otherwise you've got a partial vacuum and dry hits.

Not entirely true. The extra screw hole can be used for air, but apparently you've got the wick loose enough to allow for air to get in the tank. In my experience with gennys this can work on some, but on others it just makes them leak like a sieve.

i think gennys and ss mesh based RBAs will start to die out. i haven't touched my gennys in months. very happy with my RDA's and the kayfun.

I placed my first FT order on 12/23. All items appeared to be in stock including Taifun GT clone, kayfun lite clone, nemmy mixed clone and magnets…NO BATTERIES.

I checked last night 12/27 and all items were ready to ship EXCEPT nemmy clone showed "restocking"…..., they put it on the boxing day sale on 12/25, two days after I placed the order.

I checked again this morning and all items including the nemmy clone were in stock EXCEPT the Taifun GT clone now reads "scheduled to ship 1/7. Again......

Is this normal for FT?? I am aware of the shipping issues but now Im thinking IF the Taifun comes in for 1/7 and the nemmy is again out of stock then the wait will even be loooonger.

I could just cancel the Taifun and reorder…damn, i hate this already.

I have cancelled items that were stocking just as you are considering doing now. I came back again and again to reorder... waiting for it to be in stock, or cancelling and getting at the END OF ANOTHER LINE for the stock to come in. SUGGESTION: If you can get it cheaper stateside, do so / If you CAN'T stand waiting a month for an item to save some money, cancel it... otherwise, ORDER IT, IGNORE IT, and wait in line for stock to come in, & get your items in a month or so =]

I just blew $120 for Christmas mods stateside because I didn't want to wait a month for the $17 versions from Fasttech... you have the same option. I sort of want to kick myself for spending so much, but what's done is done, I need to suck it up and move on LOL

I've done this before as well LOL Oddly enough the item waiting to stock arrived the DAY BEFORE the rest of my order... I have given up trying to figure out international shipping LOL

Lisa is also right, though: if waiting for 3 weeks is not something you want to do, and you can get the thing at a reasonable price locally, then ordering from FT may not be for you. I wait, albeit painfully sometimes, because there are simply no local options at less than 4 or 5 times the price...

Waiting three weeks or more was a given in my head considering the shipping time. I guess I was just suprised or just not really aware of items bieng in stock then out of stock during the life of an order. I guess Im really not silling to wait 4 weeks for stock and than another 4 weeks for shipping. Lesson learned. Make smaller separate orders.

Thanks for the advice and it is advice taken. I just created a ticket requesting the Taifun clone order be maintained but split off and the rest shipped. Will see what happens.
