Uncle, I think you are fine. I have ic that is almost 10 years old and while a bit darker and more peppery, it is still fine.

Can you get a cooler or some of those insulated bags to store the nic in? Those will keep it cooler and dark. Those little Styrofoam ones would work and they are cheap.

I have read and followed your test for nic since you began them. I really do appreciate all the time and effort you have spent doing this and sharing the results with the members. But aren't we talking about 2 different scenarios here. I was responding to newly bought high nic mg from NR that is only 5 months old and should have been frozen from that point on. And you are talking heat light and room temp. Did i misunderstand?
    :)
Yes, "should have been". But something about their statements has me wondering.

IIRC, they claim it's "made to order". If that's true, why are people now getting nic with date/batch/lot codes that indicate it was made many months ago?

IIRC, they also claim that they store it at -10 degrees, but don't specify C or F. And if the above statement is not true, why should we believe this one? And why would they even need to do that if it's "made to order"?

I can't tell you with any certainty what's going on here, but it does seem that some people have gotten nic from them recently that I personally would not consider up-to-snuff.

Anyway - I am more concerned about decanting each an every bottle to check the NIC. Will it not be effected (oxidation even if close tightly)? ? ? NEXT Suggestion ? ? ? ;)
That's a question I tried to answer in the "Experiment" thread, and the results are not completely conclusive.

    See here.

All four started out identical. The two in PET plastic were never opened. The two in glass were decanted.

What are your thoughts on using vaccum pack bags /water bladders hikers use? (Stored at room temperature in the dark). We are considering on off-grid lifestyle in Colorado for the summers

That was very generous of him. Maybe consider shipping all but one bottle to him to freeze?

YES - Extremely generous . . . And - As I mentioned to him when he offered, I just might take him up on that offer some day - just not right now . . . Anyway, thanks for the input . . . :D

While I wait to hear from somebody who decanted this late batch

YEP - That would help "Me" too . . .

Until then - I checked the label on the bottles - very very tiny print - thankfully I have strong reading glasses & a strong magnifying glass available . . .

    Couldn't find any dates anywhere . . . :(

    1) Bottle of 50/50 24mg (Purchased 8 Months ago):
    PG Lot: CD1224UP
    VG Lot: 190210-12-1
    Batch #: 2458661.5

    2) Bottle of 100mg PG (Purchase this week):
    PG Lot: C01614UP
    Batch #: 2458763.5

SO - "We" will see what someone else can add later . . . ;)

Although, the bottles are already in airtight seal heavy duty plastic bag - that Very Good Idea . . . :headbang:

One that I will consider . . . I have a heavy duty insulated cooler that I use for hurricanes (full with supplies though), but I do have one of those Dark Green bins (25 gallons I think) for storage I can use too . . . Thanks for the suggestion . . .

Two of my four liters are the same PG Lot/Batch#
The other two are consecutive later batches - 2458764.5 and 2458765.5 (Same PG Lot)

It'll be interesting to see which batches others received!

If I were going to do that for several months at a time, I would mix down enough base to last me those months. My experience is that unflavored base mixed down to vaping strength doesn't degrade as fast. I've left 13-15 mg unflavored in glass bottles for several months and observed no color change or objectionable flavor/odor.

I have no idea how permeable those bags/bladders are. I like glass bottles, and if they're too heavy, or you're worried about breakage, me next choice would be PET (#1 plastic) bottles.

3 more liters from Heartland vapes (I love them, I really do.) It's on m mind.... Then enough bottles for ALL of them. That should be fun, I'm quite certain.

I keep thinking "plastic isn't that bad" but it kind of is for this at least. it's too long term even in the freezer. Oy, At t his point I would pay a bit more for like 4 liters ALREADY in glass but I forget who does that. You are all FREE to tell me. LOL.

Try Nude Nicotine. Their Nude Armor is stored in 125ml bottles with argon. It's a little bit more expensive, but you won't have to buy bottles and decant it. Just shove it in your freezer.

Really nice and a GREAT option . . . I probably could hide that in the closet without a problem . . . Well - Unless when they do a 3 month "spot" Maintenance inspection and notice the cord running into the closet and ask WHY - I'll just say it is for "My" late night snacks when I can't get out of bed and hope that works (hey it's a picnic cooler - not a Freezer, one that I could use too when a Hurricane hits ;) ) . . .   . . . Anyway, GREAT Find, I think I will get one as soon as it hopefully goes on sale (already spent more money that I reallly didn't have on NIC & "Stuff" . . . ) . . . THANK YOU ! ! ! :D

My offer of freezer space stands as well.

The caveats are: I'm not here full-time, and the place is 150' from the ocean, meaning the right hurricane could could produce a total loss.

NN Armor V1 is available in 125, 250, and 500 ml glass bottles. It's actually slightly cheaper in bigger bottles, but the difference isn't a whole lot.

Thanks for the update, Rossum. The Nude Armor I have in my freezer was bought back in 2015. :)

Actually already been though this discussion before - NO I do not and it is not an option. I live in senior housing - they only provide a cheap small refrigerator. Also they will not allow any tenant to purchase a larger one / or freezer (it just so happens they are in the process of evicting a tenant unless they get rid of the small freezer they have). Matter of fact, @Rossum was so kin and generous to offer to let me store some in his freezer, however he is 4 hour drive away.

Anyway - I am more concerned about decanting each an every bottle to check the NIC. Will it not be effected (oxidation even if close tightly)? ? ? NEXT Suggestion ? ? ? ;)
