I agree completely with that. I started out at 12 and I'm now at 3 without any discernible side effects other than initially when I stepped down I do vape more but it evens out after a week or less. I think that I am addicted more to the action of vaping then I am the nicotine and I came to that conclusion when I realized I was vaping a zero nicotine e-juice for two days without realizing it. It couldn't quite figure out why I was feeling a little bit edgy and had a bit of a headache going on but other than that I was relatively okay. Not so okay that I kept on with it but okay enough that I didn't kill anyone LOL
I find I have to go below 3 MG if I am using a seriously cloud chucking setup. I just can't cope with as much nic as I used to use.

When I recently got my first legitimate mod rather than an all-in-one device the first two days I felt like human garbage.. pretty sure that even though I'm mtl lowish wattage I had inadvertently significantly increased the amount of nicotine I was getting to the point where I was getting sick nowhere close to like an overdose but more than I was used to and my body definitely let me know. I've sort of went back on how much I was using it because I think I was just extra excited because it was something new and I wanted to try out some of the features.

My warning sign of too much nic is a tightness around my temples and eyebrows. Time to put the vape down for a couple of hours.

Don't feel bad. While back a bottle of 12mg kicked my .... then mopped the floor with my head.. I barely escaped! Screaming into the street. "That horrible nicotine is out to get me just like the media said!!! - I hid in my home for 3 days

People are different.

In nearly six years, I don't think I've ever put the vape down for longer than an hour except when I'm asleep, or those rare occasions when I'm stuck someplace where vaping is likely to get me in a heap of trouble, and in those cases I plan ahead and bring nic gum.

Yeah maybe a couple of hours is a teeny tiny exaggeration.
My new night pattern is instead of waking up at 3am, tossing and turning and pretending I'm nearly asleep (all the while stressing that the minutes are becoming half hours and the half hours becoming hours) I get up and have a relaxing vape while reading posts from my Northern Hemisphere brothers and sisters. Then I hit the pillow again and sleep like a baby.
See y'all at 3am...

I vape all over. I just turn it down to about 8W MTL when UI'm in public and no one seems to notice, especially if I hold it for a few seconds before exhaling. At home I vape at 10W all day.

Vaping 8ml of 3mg/ml juice a day makes a liter of 100mg nic last for 9 years. I have two in the freezer at 0 degrees F broken down into 240ml Boston Rounds in a single box. That should take me up to age 86.

I still wonder if I should buy just one more. :)

For that great sale at ecx, I bought one more even though I don't think I need it. Who knows, what if I spilled one or one broke or oxidized.

Running out of nic is unsettling as is purchasing more nic than one needs. I kind of look at how unsettling each possibility is. In my mind, running out of nic is far more unsettling than having purchased too much nic (it would be far from the first time I wasted the amount of money we're talking about...especially on cigarettes). I don't like the thought of going to bed at night worrying if my nic supply is adequate.

The way I look at it, the worst case if I under-bought is that I have to cut my nic a little more than I'd like. But I started at 24 mg, 2016 I was planning on 18 mg, and I'm now at 12 mg. So it is likely my stash will last even longer than planned.

As with all things vaping, it has to be compared to smoking cigarettes. The cost of nic supply pales in comparison to the cost of cigarettes when, supposedly, we all had enough money for that.

As with all this, it also comes down to practicality. A liter will last me 5 1/2 years at my current usage. I have 6 L stashed around town, 1 with me, 2 at my daughter in Brooklyn (she already told her boyfriend don't touch that, if that doesn't kill you my dad will), and 3 L at her mom's in CT. Loss of any one stash really isn't going to be the end of the world. I'm 62 and realistic about my lifespan.

I theoretically have enough to last till I’m 105. I expect my stash to well outlast me. I’m beginning to notice my almost 57 yo body has more and more in common with my 8 yo car, stuff is wearing out, falling off or just not performing as designed .

The human body wasn't designed to live as long as we do. Our peripheries dilapidate as the years go by.

I've stocked up on 2+ gallons of 100 mg nic salt, which should last me at minimum 42 years. It will be many more, because I'm not going to be vaping 50mg/ml until I'm 74. So very well stocked on that front. Until this year, I only had 3 mechs, 1 RTA, and 2 RDAs. Now I have 6 regulated mods, 3 mechs, 12 RTAs, and 3 RDAs.
