I do everything except bulk mixing at my desk, which has a Formica top. I keep a damp micro-fiber rag handy there. I do my bulk mixing about twice a year at the sink in the powder room.I do all of my ejuice related activities, including filling my tanks every day, in my kitchen. It's much easier to clean up accidental spills there than other areas of the house. And I like to be near a sink when I'm working with nic.
Uhm, the picture at the top of that article does not look like any kind of "Vape Shop" I've ever been in.

That can't have anything to do with anything. It's definitely about protecting the children..the article said:In fiscal year 2018, according to the California Department of Tax Free Administration, the state collected $211.4 million in tax revenue from e-cigarettes, chewing tobacco, snuff and “other tobacco products” — which does not include traditional cigarettes. By comparison, the state collected nearly $1.9 billion in cigarette tax revenue in fiscal year 2018.

I think the hybrid shops have a much better chance of surviving the FDA. It would not surprise me to find quite a few of them keeping stuff that they're not supposed to be selling under the counter for their regular customers after May.We only have 1 true exclusively vape shop in town, but there are about 7-8 of these hybrid shops.

Just gives more fuel to the anti-vapers to conflate vaping with smoking. There has been quite an evolution of "Tobacco/Vape" shops in the last few years. The staff in these places know little to nothing about vape issues, so dont look for informed advice in them. We only have 1 true exclusively vape shop in town, but there are about 7-8 of these hybrid shops. Heck, the one that opened up down the street from work even had a walk-in cigar humidor. Personally, it kind of gives me the willys to go into one of them. Too much tobacco around (and well stocked cigar humidors still make me drool a little), and while there might be lots of vape, it's all SMOK or similar brands, nothing much that I would be interested in.
Hey Chelzie!
Call me utile, but I have a couple/few of these and they've worked out wonderfully for most of my atties. They're really not as blingy as this pic might allude. Just clear acrylic, easy to clean, but not quite big enuf for those who like larger (bigger than 22) tanks.
Since I'm a 22 girl, they work purrfectly.

You can pitch a tent on the sidewalk, get stoned on cannabis and crap in the street, but you better not be Vaping.
Does that sound about right ?

In my area (Southwest Florida), you don't see things like that... Most vape shops around me are extremely anti-smoking... it's like oil and water, they do not mix.FYI: Here in South Florida (Ft. Lauderdale/Miami & suburbs) - there are many shops just like that one then Ya' might think . . . Also saw a number of them, on the highways (Rt 19) in Tampa/New Port Richy area too . . . AND - Lets' not forget NYC/Philadelphia also . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Sadly, there are those whose profit motive supersedes their moral standards. In my area (Southwest Florida), you don't see things like that... Most vape shops around me are extremely anti-smoking... it's like oil and water, they do not mix.
Thanks for that, Deloris- I AM gonna die!I wash mine in hot soapy water, then sterilize as I would canning jars. Why? Because I worked in a glass factory. One of my jobs was cleaning the glass washer in my department. Actually, my whole department worked on that. It was supposed to be a weekly thing, but it only got done when things were slow enough to stop production. The water tank was a sheet metal box about the size of a refrigerator. One guy would have to suit up, drain it, and go at the inside with an air hammer. We’d clear about 500lbs of sludge out of the drainage gutter. There were frogs, possums, bats and birds, once even a raccoon, in that building.
The glass sure did look clean. But everyone washed their hands before lunch.
Spit and a sleeve shines 'em right up. It's what's on the outside that counts! Thanks for that, Deloris- I AM gonna die!
Makes me kinda wonder, though, if all that Owens Illinois glass going to pharmacies is being washed in dish soap, vinegar, alcohol, and sterilized behind the counter at Walgreens before they use it to fill our prescriptions?
