It always seemed likely they would restrict the purchase of bulk nicotine. I don't know if the FDA could do that.

They already have, at least high %. Sellers are afraid (at least the ones I've bought from before and others I've checked) and will only sell if you are registered as a manufacturer with the FDA. That could very easily carry on down to any % that wouldn't be considered vapable as is.

Remind me what that problem was. I lost track after all the various forks in the road.

Ah - "No Fork in the Road" - Well at least not yet, since I haven't posted "The Problem" here (although I have mentioned it somewhat on other threads). But since you asked, I will jump ahead of my reading other post to search for an answer and let Ya' know "My" quandary. . .

The situation . . .

1) I live in a 1 Bd room apartment in a Senior Community Apartment Complex. And even though it is one of the larger apartments here, it has a small Kitchen with a small refrigerator and an even smaller freezer (that is usually filled with Food - cannot get rid of it - NEED to Eat  ).

2) Not Allowed to replace it with larger Refrigerator - nor get a seperate small Freezer (Couldn't afford to away) . . . :(

3) Worse, Since it is a HUD subsidize residence, not only is smoking cigarettes/tobacco products/medicinal products banned - they have banned vaping (matter of fact, they have banned any open flames, including candles/incense, etc.). Given this, there are 3 month maintenance inspections which include maintenance people checking out that you are not violating the "House Rules" (Smoking/weird Smells, not keeping the apartment clean/maintained, etc). As a result, I cannot have any vaping equipment or supplies out in sight either.

Now here is the Problem . . .

Right now, since I am no longer a dual-user . . . I just started purchasing premixed Unflavored 24 nic 50/50 E-liquid (Kolada/Menthol Crystal Liquid - gave up on trying to find ADV flavored e-liquid), so what I have in "My" Vaping storage area is only 1 Litter. AND - Although, I only use approximately 5 ml of e-liquid a day, I know I will need to get much more for the future . . .

So - What are the other options of getting and storing enough e-liquid that I will NEED in the future ? ? ?

AND - No - I don't DIY, it's hard enough to figure out how much Kolada/Menthol Crystal Liquid to add to the Unflavored Premixed Nic E-liquid that goes into a small tank . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Look that's "My" Story and I'm sticking with it . . .

I found the same thing, my usual source for >100mgl has dried up.

Your point in posting this? You obviously haven't tried to purchase AW batteries in a couple of years.

FYI, AW hasn't made any batteries in years since their factory was destroyed by a flood. Yes, RTD lists AW batteries on their website, but if you look closely it says,

"Enter your email address to be notified when this item is back in stock."

It has said this for all the AW batteries for a couple of years, at least. Any vendor who lists AW batteries for sale and in stock is selling counterfeits. (Ali Express)

First, you say you are a "senior", how many years worth of stash do you want to keep on hand?

Here is how the math works out for what you are currently using:
upload_2019-8-15_13-3-56.png

Here is how the math works out if you bit the bullet, and stocked 100mgl instead. Hey you are an old geezer, you dont get old without learning to be resourceful. I am sure the flavoring thing can be worked out, PM me if you are interested and want some help.

upload_2019-8-15_13-6-47.png

Soooo, if I were an old geezer, and I am getting real close to being one, and I had limited space, I would much rather figure out how to camouflage 4 liters of nic than have to camouflage 18 liters of nic.

Camouflage is easy. I remember when I was in the Navy, we used to take big bottles of Scope mouthwash and dump them out and fill them with 100 proof vodka with a few drops of green food coloring. Worked every time. A few ideas that come to mind are mineral oil bottles, Karo syrup bottles, Coffee flavoring syrup bottles, maybe even a well washed Drain Cleaner bottle, etc. Just something that is a similar viscosity. Maybe even use all of the above to keep from having an obvious "stock" of any 1 item.

As for storage, you dont have many options so the best you can do is keep those bottles somewhere as dark and cool as possible. I am sure you can find room in the frig for at least one liter, let that be your long term storage. Consume the bottle stored in the warmest location first.

Beyond that, do you have any friends or relatives that can hold a gallon for you?

OKay - No Need to rake me over the coals - thought it just might be helpful . . .

 "My" Bad then . . .

Didn't know this happened - nor did I read the fine print, especially since I haven't bought any batteries in years - be they AW or not . . . Matter of fact, still have about a dozen batteries left from previous Co-Ops that happened back in the day . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

I had it in my head that you were in FL somewhere, but I didn't remember any details. I have space in my freezer, but I'm probably 4+ hours north of ya.

Get your premix in 100 mg. Lay in some VG and PG - can be stored anywhere coolish and darkish. Cut your 100 with equal parts of the PG and VG - e.g 50 mls base, 75 mls each of PG and VG, getting you 250 mls at 25 mg/ml. So only one bottle in the fridge/freezer.

.

Give up the ice cream and use the freezer.
If you know when the maintenance inspection is coming I guess you could keep stuff in the fridge and move it when they were due to arrive. A few days out wouldn't do much harm. Or get to know the maintenance guys and make an arrangement. I was a maintenance guy for 10 years, most of us would be happy to look the other way if you were friendly.

Maybe get a small box safe for nic and keep it under your bed. Room temp isn't the best but better than nothing. It might darken and lose a bit of potency but with menthol flavoring you might not even notice. You could keep the mixed juice in an olive oil bottle in the fridge.

Best thing would be to have someone else store some nic for you. That's not always possible. I would love to keep some nic somewhere else, but all the family members I have locally are either untrustworthy, or they are fanatical puritans with children.

I saw someone selling AWs not that long ago. Forget who. I had no doubt they were AWs (not counterfeit). What they were is old stock they still had sitting around. The odds those batteries were any good? About 0.

That's the number of months we have left until the new PMTA deadline.

Personally, I've been ready for a bit over three years. This thread is mostly intended for people who realize they aren't ready yet but would like help getting there, who aren't willing or able to wade though 23,000+ posts in the Deeming Regulations thread or 24,000+ in the Stocking Up thread.

Am I ready? No! I haven't even started yet!

@Uncle how fanatical are they? I mean surely just because you’re not allowed to vape in the apartment doesn’t mean they can dictate whether you vape at all, am I right?

My mom is at a similar complex here in Ohio. The folks who smoke can sit in their cars, some sit outside on the bench in a common area. The manager and maintenance guys see cartons of smokes right out on their coffee tables.

Someone is attempting to sell "new" AW 18650 batteries on EBay. Some sucker will probably buy them.

Lot of 2 New AW IMR 18650 Li-Mn 2000 mAh High Drain Battery 3.7 V Rechargeable

I suspect they are fake as they look different from the below pic of authentic AW 18650 2000mah. This is a perfect example why to not buy batteries off EBay.
