People just don't know.
We call it vaping. People that use 'other stuff' call it vaping.
Both groups know the difference - the general public does not.

The worrisome part to me is the general public - and now the users of "other stuff" not being informed that vaping oils is BAD like WE know vaping oil is bad.

I was reading up on the latest scare this morning. Saw one site that sells all sorts of vaping gear. The one that is legal in some places, the one that is legal in most places, and nicotine. The site said their vape pen was suitable for use with XXX vaping oil, YYY vaping oil, and nicotine vaping oil. I saw the word oil on several different sites as I looked around. I've seen new members here talk about vape juice as oil.

I've seen the same confusing use of terms on sites that sell the mostly legal one. Our nicotine vaping sites are normally pretty good about the terminology.

Apart from the more technical definition oil is a generic word for thick viscous liquid, and vape juice looks and feels oily.

Trouble is people see those references and don't get the difference.

There are plenty inside of the vaping community too. There are vape shop owners who have no clue their store is about to be regulated out of business.

I saw a quote from a vape shop owner this morning on a local FB page, and he said "vaping is as dangerous as smoking"! He was trying to respond to the hysteria about teen vaping, but more misinformation is not the way. Bowing to the antis is not going to save you.

Indeed, some of us were. I'm not there right now, but I've got a place right on the ocean in NE FL and needless to say, I was a bit worried. Matthew made quite a mess for us three years ago. Thankfully, Dorian stayed further off shore...

Place an order on 29th got the "Thank you for your purchase!" email. Dated the 30th.

Been checking my credit card, said pending up until today when it showed up as purchase on the 4th posted on the 5th. No email so far from them, when I call on the phone yesterday and today all I get is a answering machine. Don't know what to make of them.

I think they're legit but not your everyday online vape shop - slow.

Order was only for $40.00 and if I don't get it in two weeks, I'll call the card people and get a charge back. Did that few years back.

Although my order was placed five days before yours the charge to my card also wasn't applied until the 4th.

I guess the reason I didn't receive the confirmation email until two days later is because I placed my order early Saturday on the weekend.

Maybe they need to wait for more stock of the item I ordered that they have stored at a remote location, and they are just too swamped to reply promptly as JCinFLA suggests. The item I ordered is the iStick TC100W. I will give it a little more time.

I stocked up a lot in 2017. Learned how to mix my own juice and have been doing that ever since. I have made my own coils in the past but prefer to just use drop ins these days. Call me lazy.

Plan to pick up a 1/2 liter or less of nic and some more coils. Should be set.

Like I said credit card charged the 4th no notification of order sent out.

Two phone calls left on answering machine and one email sent - no response so far...

I would leave them another vm that says I haven't heard back so will be canceling my cc payment. That will get their attention. If you still don't hear anything, cancel the payment. If you do receive it, you can figure out if you want to pay them at that point.
