Assuming there's a recipe for DIY that you can find vapable, I expect there are a number of people here that don't live too far away that could lend you a hand to get started. As long as you have nic there will be a way!

This issue led me to think about the vape meetups we had in the early days at a bar or a barbecue at a vaper's home. That simple thing may be a way to handle things in the future. vaping potlucks FTW!

Have you tried making any yet? Worst case scenario, at least you’d have nic someone else could make your juice with.
No, I don't need any help mixing. My only issue is coming up with a flavor(s) I can actually vape and enjoy for more than an hour. As I stated before, I am ridiculously and hopelessly beyond picky about flavor. I've already mixed a few recipes and about 15-18 sfts. They're steeping and many of them are ready for sampling. Sampled one already. Good for an hour then it was sickening. :) Lots of experimenting ahead. That's all.

Wonder if any flavor houses will publish/sell their recipes once national ban is in place a couple months from now?
I m hoping at the very least they offer us a one-time buy of their extracts/flavorblends to purchase in bulk for a reasonable price. Before they close shop. I've been sort of working towards that with the one flavor I like. :)

The way you describe your flavor tolerance, I would suggest giving high vg unflavored a try. If you use an rda you can squonk and put a drop or two of different flavored juuces to mix it up and flavor changes would be easier. Unflavored VG is pretty tasty once I got used to it. Just a thought ymmv.

I used to try out new combinations by putting a few drops in a shot glass of water and then taking a sip. It is pretty much all just food flavoring, and that little bit mixed in water gave me an idea of which way I needed to go with a recipe before committing nic and p/vg to it.

I have a bottle of unflavored I just mixed up. About ready to do exactly what you suggested. :)

Totally not ready. Been vaping for around 8 years now and never got into mixing my own flavors. I assume that’s something I’m going to have to do now.

What should I stock up on? Will obviously stock up on the flavor I like, but beyond that what else should I be looking to stock up on that won’t go bad after a year or 2?

I don't have enough nic. Not near enough. I'm looking at $750 - $1,000 needed for a stockpile. Was hoping to delay that for various reasons the biggest reason being that I still don't know if DIY is viable for me yet. Hoping they don't go after nic solution quite yet.
If I can freeze ejuice and still be usable if possible I'd buy a small freezer and a ton of premade ejuice.

That's a lot of dough. If I did that and wanted a 20 year supply that would be $11,520. Plus freezer space plus electricity to run it. I'd have to take out a second mortgage.

I'd much rather buy 4 liters of flavor extract and mix my own for a fraction of the cost and freezer space. And if a vendor was willing to do that and not gouge me I'd do it. If they are willing and want to take me to the cleaners, then no. I'll bet on DIY if that's the case.

IMHO - "Unflavored" is the way to go . . . After trying many different flavors over the years and failing to find that one ADV . . . For me "Unflavored" e-Liquid with Kolada and a few drops of "Menthol Crystal Liquid" has been the one e-liquid that has finally helped "Me" become a full-time Vapor a few months ago, after being a dual user for the past 8 years . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

AND - On that note, for anyone who might be interested, especially with all the recent "NEWS" . . . :-x

Just got an email from e-cig Express today, they are having a Flash sale of 20% on all there Nicotine bases: NICOTINE20

    Also - 25% Off Flavor Art: FLAVORART25

Hope this information is helpful . . .

Well - That is unless you know of any place selling it less expensive - and if Ya' do, Please let "Us" All know . . .
    :thumb:

I think it just might be the time to buy some Nic in the next few days . . . Just Sayin' . . .

#1 is get some concentrated nic.

Some flavorings last for years, some don't.

There is likely to be a big shake up among flavoring suppliers. Some of the big ones cleaned up their sites a few years back. They took the word vape off their sites completely. Since other people buy flavorings I don't see how they could ban their sale. But today vendors have vape safe flavors on a separate page, away from food flavorings that contain oil and so forth. They might not be able to do that any more. Maybe they will come up with a code, oil free flavorings or something. Or put more detailed ingredient lists up so we can figure it out.

Vendors that sell premixed flavors like one shots would have a hard time, so would vendors that only sell vaping flavorings.

I guess the first thing to stock up on is probably nicotine and flavorings? Is that the consensus?

Never mixed my own juice, but looks like I’m going to have to stock up and learn. Just not sure what to stock up on :(

Oh - Don't be "sad", there are more then enough experienced people here that will point Ya' in the right direction . . . SO BEEN THERE - DONE THAT . . . AND - In more ways then just one . . . SO - Get ready to take a lot of notes . . . ;)

I see the site I normally get my Juice from has Nicotine Salt. Honestly not sure if the difference, or which I would prefer. I’m going to go ahead and place an order for a few months worth my favorite flavor and adding some of the Nicotine Salt. Looks like the largest bottle they sell is 30ml bottles.

How many ML would that mix into?

If there is a better place to ask these questions, feel free to point me there.

Best way to go is get liter bottles of 100mg/ml nicotine. It's the cheapest way to get nic, and in a freezer it seems like it will last indefinitely. I got mine from Wizard Labs and Nude Nicotine. They aren't the cheapest though, someone will come up with cheaper places.

The smaller the bottle and the lower the concentration the more you will pay for each mg of nic. And the more space it will take up in your freezer.

As for salt nic I have no idea how it compares pricewise, or in terms of how long it lasts.

Vapers Tek has throat hit nic 45.99 a liter!!! I compared everywhere and that’s the best price. Now they are in OK and I’m in NE TX but I ordered Labor Day weekend, it shipped on Tuesday afternoon and I had it Thursday morning. I sampled it this weekend, was clear as a bell, no harshness and no peppery taste.

Even tho the price was great I feel I got quality nicotine!

Oh and it shipped thru USPS

    Thanks! Appreciate it.

If I stock up on flavored Juice is it a good idea to freeze it as well, or should I only freeze nicotine?

I get 1 liter of 100 mg nic. At Heartland, I believe it is around 50.00 If you want nic salt instead of freebase, it is a bit more at various places. Ecigexpress has a 20 % off sale right now with code nicotine20 . It is only good for today and shipping is free over 60.00.
