Ah ha. Thought you meant a flavor, not a juice.
Yes. A juice. After sampling hundreds of flavors, mostly tobacco but also many fruits, bakery, beverage, etc. I found one I can vape all day every day and enjoy it as much as I did when I discovered it more than 7 years ago. My next favorite flavor does not even appear on the chart. I know, hard to believe someone can be that squirrely about e-juice. But it’s true. And it’s equally squirrely to me how someone can vape just about anything and like it. I know people like that.

I suspect you are one of many who have a particular flavor that is the only one that works for them. One option to cover a good period of time is to dial back that liquid, cutting it in half with unflavored base. If you can slowly get used to lesser flavor, cutting further may allow you to store and use your critical liquid, at a lighter level, for a couple years at least.

Imagine how far a bottle can stretch if you can accomplish using it at a 10% level, making unflavored tolerable. It may even help transition to unflavored if necessary.

A thought I had a bit back when I first contemplated DIY and knowing how difficult it would be to find another ADV is the potential advantages to unflavored (or close to unflavored). If 99.67% of the flavors I have tried ended in failure then maybe the problem is flavor itself. Perhaps flavor is a detriment. So yes, it is worth experimenting with unflavored or lightly flavored. I have some mixed and will begin testing soon.

That's a lot of dough. If I did that and wanted a 20 year supply that would be $11,520. Plus freezer space plus electricity to run it. I'd have to take out a second mortgage.

I'd much rather buy 4 liters of flavor extract and mix my own for a fraction of the cost and freezer space. And if a vendor was willing to do that and not gouge me I'd do it. If they are willing and want to take me to the cleaners, then no. I'll bet on DIY if that's the case.

I'm not optimistic and I certainly don't expect to live until I'm 90. I don't want to be 90. 3-4 years is plenty for me to get by with. Worse case I can quit vaping. So can you freeze ejuice. I pay $20.00 for a 120ml bottle which will last me 6 weeks.

Although I've read of some who have frozen mixed liquid, most would keep it in the fridge. Should be good for a couple years in most cases.

Different thoughts on this . Some freeze, others put in fridge and others keep in a cool, dark place. I have some eliquid that is 10 years old and it is fine. What I notice most is the nicotine flavor is stronger. Mine has never been in the fridge or freezer. Do what you are comfortable with.

Before someone asks: the reason I have some that old is it wasn't a favorite and I kept buying and trying new flavors. I now am mostly DIY but I keep the old ones that I liked ok for insurance. I threw out hundreds of bottles of ones I didn't like. I am very picky about juice.

Our beloved Robin bought 600+ mls at a time. She’d keep one out for using and the rest went in the freezer. Some of her stuff was in the freeze for a year. She said she noticed no difference in quality.

    Thanks! Appreciate it.

If I stock up on flavored Juice is it a good idea to freeze it as well, or should I only freeze nicotine?

I've never done that so I don't have any personal knowledge. I've read that some juices will be fine frozen but others will be damaged. Something about different chemicals in the mix coming out of solution at low temps, or interacting with each other. Can't remember the details. Some say the fridge is best. It's one of those subjects where everyone has an opinion.

I mix my own and I never have more than 100mls of any juice, so there's no reason to freeze it. Just leave it on a shelf.

I mix half a liter of juice at a time because I am lazy. Leave it out on the shelf (mind you our house is climate controlled) and have no problems whatsoever using it up before anything changes noticeably. My nic however lives in the freezer.

You just blew my mind. I need bigger bottles, syringes and funnels ASAP.

I used to teach science so I had all the measuring equipment already. ;)

I have also been at this for a VERY long time. I saw the writing on the wall many years ago when potential deeming was being bandied about and made it my business to know how to do juice and when rebuildables became a thing learn to use them as well.

In Fact Baditude was one of the ones who did so very much to set me on the right path and make sure I knew how to do things safely particularly with batteries which confused the tar out of me at first.

While something is going to happen and happen quickly (perhaps hours or days from now), I'm still not certain exactly what will be banned. We keep hearing, "flavored e-cigarettes". It's not clear to me if that's accurate or even what "flavored e-cigarettes" are. For example, what category does naturally extracted, cased (flavor infused) tobacco fall under? Will they ban gear? Will they ban nic solution? Will they ban store sales, online sales, both? Closed system e-cigarettes only? All e-cigarettes?
Bureaucracy doesn't move that fast. They must first write a guidance document. It will have to drafted, reviewed, edited, modified, etc. My guess is this will take a few weeks at minimum. Once it's oficially published, I believe they're required to allow 30 days before it can be enforced. So I would suppose the earliest that the hammer can drop on the things that are being banned is around November 1.

Can someone update me what PMTA means for US vapers?

We have the TPD law here in Europe. One result of it is that NIC is now only available max. 20mg/mL in max 10ml bottles. (In the past you could buy larger bases, like 36mg NIC etc. in larger quantities). Now you buy your usual VG/PG and then 25+ or so of these "NIC shots". Inconvenient (because it's a pain in the ... to open 25 tiny bottles and mix them) and also more expensive than before...but DIY is still possible.

So will your PMTA be like that?

I’m one of those people, lol! I think it’s because I like being excited and trying different flavors does just that. I do have a preference for sweet/fruity flavors though.

I hope these new bans don’t affect the availability of juices. I’ll have to stock on my Jam Monster juices. Sigh. Also, DIY is not an option for me because that type of thing is not that popular over here. Double Sigh.

Well, don’t take this offensively, but I find it rather cute that a girl likes juices named Jam Monster. :)
