That article Eskie posted a link to, has this in it:

"The Food and Drug Administration is already finalizing its guidance to remove all non-tobacco flavors of e-cigarettes, including mint and menthol, from the market within 30 days. Companies might be able to reintroduce their flavors at a later date, so long as they submit a formal application and receive approval from the FDA."

Huh? Aren't authors of these articles required to do any fact checking any more?

Facts just get in the way. Although that statement isn't totally inaccurate. If a firm submitted a PMTA for a product with flavor and it was approved by the FDA they could then reenter the market with it. Granted the chances of that approval with flavorings is roughly zero. But it's still possible, right?

No. Just more misinformation. The FDA says companies can reintroduce their flavors upon approval of their application and purposely leave out the fact that no one can afford the application. Just more deceiving. I haven't heard hardly a true statement about vaping since this vape death started a week or two ago. Just one lie after the other.

My post was in reference to the sentence I underlined and partially made bold.:)

Seems they have the momentum as well as public opinion at this point so anything is fair game now. Nobody who has anything to counter even gets a spot on the stage so as it it it’s “cool” to slander vaping, and who doesn’t want to be cool? Especially when everyone is watching.

Gotta get those likes nowadays..:thumb:

Most likely when banning flavors does nothing about bad weed vapes, that will further justify removing most all equipment by the FDA next May.

Yep. If you're a politician and come out against a vape ban you will be rendered a pariah.

Members who have tried freezing say the flavorings do not hold up well. Even refrigerated they can separate, but usually a good shake and they’re ok. I’d only even refrigerate if the temps in my house got really high. I only have window A/C but I manage to keep it 70-ish and my juice is fine.

Thank you, Ms. Rose and Ms. Letitia. I'm sure there are experiences across the board when it comes to vape habits, procedures, and techniques. I have had e-liquids in the freezer for many years without any flavor degradation, which caused me some curiosity about the "not freezing" idea.

Thanks for the info, both. I do believe it's good for all vapers to gain as much knowledge as is pastable. :) :)

Kat, what flavor profile are they? Curious if that’s what makes the difference

He has a lot of stuff to occupy his mind

REALLY ? ? ?

In other words, we vapers are thought of as weak-minded, low-class, disgusting, sub-human, troglodyte, reprobates who should be ostracized and shamed by our fellow citizens...who live perfect lives, have no crutches, bad habits, and are the epitome of the perfect human being.

That about summarizes it. :)

AND - Has been the rhetoric of anti-smoking cigarette zealots for quite some time now - so what's new . . . Just Sayin' . . . :-x

Somewhere out there
MelaNol, they are truly across the board, so there's no rhyme or reason. I learned early on to freeze un-used liquids for safe and long term storage, so that's what I did! Never an issue or prob.
I freeze them too, fresh as a daisy when taken out to vape.

What do companies do to make their nic have more “throat hit”?
That doesn’t mean old does it?
Vapers Tek explained that they blew air bubbles through their regular nic to make throat hit "with an extra bite". It sounds like an extra process that I would expect would incur extra price but instead it's cheaper. Go figure. Their TH nic is very clean & tasteless. It's excellent for the price.

safe distance from a black hole
Vaping is still perceived as smoking by the general public. We haven't got a chance.

Do you think smokers are, "weak-minded, low-class, disgusting, sub-human, troglodyte, reprobates who should be ostracized and shamed by our fellow citizens" ?

Can't answer for @Bronze but I don't think so. Unfortunately plenty of other Americans do, so my opinion on that doesn't seem to count much

Of course not. See Eskie's post.

Is that essentially kick starting some of the oxidation that would also occur with aged nic base that has the increased bite?

It counts every bit as much as theirs do, and from where I’m sitting more because it’s accurate.
