I have 8 separate windows open of nic suppliers and I officially have no idea who to choose.

Nic base for freezing, should that be ordered in pg or vg?
Kurt believed that it would hold up better over the long term in VG due to its higher viscosity. But after several years of actual observations I haven't seen any real difference and I'm currently using 5+ year old PG nic that spent that time in the freezer with no signs of degradation.

Thus my sense is, it doesn't matter.

coils can be rebuilt. I know it sucks, but this is definite possibility. Do a search of protank rebuild, this might give you an idea of how to do it. Not a new concept, I still rebuild bvc coils today for a device I use. Their flavor/vapor production is better than the factory coils, and they last longer. The biggest plus used to be cost, rebuilding a coil on a prebuilt costs pennies. Another, maybe better option would be to looking into getting an RTA/RDTA, wire, and wicking materials. More of an initial investment, less cost in the longterm, better flavor and vapor. Barring accidents, they last a long time also. I have equipment that is 9 years old that still works like the day I bought it.

Where did you get that stand, is it for nail polish? I like it, something I need in my life.

This one is from eBay and I have a couple from Amazon as well. The others are for flavors. This was too, but it’s too big for the cubby.

Okay - I have a really stupid question, lol: a 250 bottle of 24mg nic lasts me about a year. I just keep it in the cupboard, not the fridge. So far so good (for the last 5 or 6 years). So what is it that actually happens to the nic if you DON'T freeze it? Does it get weaker? Moldy? Simply discolor? Due to the wind speed of my location (hurricane central lol) anything I freeze gets defrosted several times a year (so far) due to power outages. So would it really be that bad to just keep it in the back of my closet in a cool, dark place? What happens to it?
I've noticed that my vaping-strength unflavored base (13-15 mg) holds up pretty well at room temperature, but 100 mg concentrate does not. The latter begins to darken after a few weeks and looks pretty bad after a few months to a year. Earlier this summer I opened one of my two year old room temperature samples to check for the presence of an inner seal under the lid. I caught a whiff of it and it smelled really foul, like something between a dirty ashtray and gym socks that have been sitting around. There's no way I'd use it to mix with.

I worry about coils... I can get nic, etc., but since coils aren't dry-burnable anymore, it would cost a major $$ investment for me to stock up on a lifetime of coils (and the devices that use them)...

I’d say at least get one rba and see if you feel like you can build it. A lot of them come with coils, some even have cotton. They all come with tools too.

It’s really a cheap way to stock up.

Nic isn’t like meat or veg, it doesn’t go bad if it thaws. You can unfreeze and refreeze with no problem as long as you let it come to room temp before you open it.

I break my liters down into either 120 or 250 ml bottles, which freeze and thaw several times before they’re finished.

As far as I know, nic only grows darker, loses potency, and starts to smell and tase nasty as it oxidizes. I have not heard that it molds or spoils, really, although it can get to tasting/smelling too nasty to vape, as Rossum said.

Here's a thought - with all their commercial customers cancelling orders, (no future business), some nic suppliers may be stuck with much more stock than they planned.

Just a thought.
I'm still trying to find any indication from any politician that nic solution will be banned as part of this latest flavor ban push. I haven't seen anything.

As a Michigander I've come to believe a nic restriction could happen without warning. I didn't see things that way a couple weeks ago.

Agreed. The key part to me is YET. Things are moving very quickly.

I have to admit those sudden declarations are a concern of mine as well. Just seems nic solution would be one of the last items to feel the wrath. But it could easily get swept up along with everything else. POOF! GONE!

You may be right,, I read some govt data for people all over the world and we Americans avg a whopping 98 in avg IQ,,, & plenty of other countries were higher.- disappointing

Average IQ is probably not a good number for most individuals. Most bookstores sell the standardized IQ test. Take it and see. My wife and I both scored in the 138-140 range on two different tests using a timer to stay within recommended allowances. I guess we picked partners well. :)

Or, Dave, the test has been dumbed down so everyone gets a trophy.

I havent seen anything beyond flavors being talked about yet either. However, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that if you remove access to nicotine, all of the others issues involving flavors and hardware become mute. All it would take would be one announcement by the Oval Office and the implementation of restriction could be swift.

This whole THC vaping thing killing kids is a snowball that could swallow up our whole supply chain. Kids are dying, the public wouldnt care if we get thrown out with the bathwater.

Why, sweetie?
Some manufacturers use dw and some flavors will form ice crystals. Personally just something I would prefer to not happen to my juice, seems it would cause changes be it flavor or consistency.

All the problems that come from black market THC carts could start happening with black market nicotine. Would you buy a bottle of 100mg nic from the guy on the corner? I'm glad I won't have to go there.

I suspect most politicians don't have a detailed understanding of the market. But the people who feed them information probably understand that nic is a key part of the process.

I listened to Trump yesterday. He has a lot of stuff to occupy his mind, and he doesn't seem to be a detail freak anyway. What did he hear before he did that press conference? A 10 minute briefing where he learned that people are dying because of vaping, teens are getting addicted, flavors are the main attraction for teens, the voters want to see vaping go away. OK, lets ban it.

Nailed it on the head. Bloomberg said... oh, ok!
