Does this mean online buys too? What about buying something from fasttech? I noticed they put just "Electronics" on their packages that have mods or tanks inside.

Or is it a total ban from anyone worldwide shipping to your address?

Because I've been expecting something like this happening. If one state gets away with something then the next state is going to try to one-up them and on and on.

Yes, the MA law says no online sales as well. So, it kills US vendors and yup, FT shipments will likely still make it through. This is so wrong on so many levels it's appalling.

I've been wondering about that. I order snus from Sweden and have never had any issues getting my orders so I don't know why overseas ecig stuff would be a lot different. I know that the only snus company I am aware of that has submitted a pmta is General/ Swedish Match.

I'm not saying we should be sitting on our hands by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, we need to be stocking up. But sorry, I don't agree we are at DEFCON 1 yet. I haven't stocked up on nic yet because I'm still not sure DIY is for me. I'm not going to panic-buy $1000 worth of nic only to find out I will never use it. Now, if something tells me it will be banned in short order I will have to make a quick decision based on what I know then. But when the feds decide to do something it never happens in DEFCON 1 fashion. Never! State governments, perhaps. But not the feds. I just sense a hyper frenzy that many are getting caught up in when just a regular frenzy is where we should be. :2c:

I agree some have gotten carried away in their paranoia. Nobody is coming to take what I have, I just need to have a bit more and I'm not sure when.

It's a difficult balance in some states, where one doesn't know if they can get anything shipped in in the near future. I've been holding out on more nic, waiting for at least somewhat cooler weather, but it's a balancing act here. If a nic vendor chooses not to ship anything to Michigan just to keep things simple on their end, it will be a long drive for me.

I could use a nice road trip though. Makin' lemonade out of those lemons! (No nic, maybe a little sweet cream)

    I agree with you, but....

I hadn't stocked up with anything for the same reason you stated. But when Trump's announcement came out of left field? I thought it was pretty cheap insurance, so I got some nic. Not a lifetime supply, but enough for about 5 years. Which for me, using 14mg, about 2ml/day, only cost me about $60 for a half liter, and that was the costly premium packaged, argon filled Nude Armor. Thinking about ordering another for less than the cost of a couple of cartons of American Spirit. And now I've gotten a Solo, even though it's too big for me, and doesn't fit my pocket well. And I have a couple of different Pico's in my FT cart to add to only a few other external battery mods I have.

And then daily announcements from the various states. So I'm not really flipping out (yet), but learned the hard way when my favorite & coveted mods became no longer available (Nugget X, Macro DNA 75, Lost Vape Coral), that spending a couple hundred bucks now for piece of mind is worth it.

And for you on the nic? I don't know how your vapocolypse calculator works out, but getting a liter or two will not go to waste- someone here will be glad to take it off your hands. And buying soon could save you money, if there's real panic buying out there. Just the speed of this thing over the last few weeks amazes me, and I didn't think it was possible anymore for government to amaze me.

    You're taking the middle road.

If/when you can't buy anymore vendor juice, I think you'll quickly decide that DIY is for you.
I wish you were right, but I know myself. I'd like to be a couple more months into my DIY journey before I have to decide. If I have to decide earlier then I got some quick thinking to do. If I had to make the decision today I would say no DIY for me.

Wow. The hammer dropped fast here in MA. As I DIY I confess my attention to the matter was casual and hopeful. Just grabbed a thc cart and my man was trippin'. Imagine that? Poof! Your store is gone.

Will be interested to see what NH does (Live Free or Die motto) as I'm right near the border.

So what is the alternative when if/when you can't buy vendor juice?

Have you tried unflavored? I vape that probably 75% of the time because I’m usually bored with a flavor before the tank is empty. I keep a variety of flavors in other tanks to use during the day as a change.

Yep, definitely taking the middle road. Safe/sorry, & all that stuff.

And about diy- the way I look at it, we adapt. I had to adapt to vaping rather than smoking, and they're vastly different. More different than any two different tobacco flavored juices. And if I were a store-bought guy, I'd rather have all the options available thru diy to adapt to than the very likely limited juices you'll be able to buy in the near future, at BT/Big Tax pricing. You already know that you prefer something that isn't strictly straight tobacco. And whether they're able to pull it off or not, every noise being made is about leaving only straight tobacco or unflavored available.

You may very well be okay waiting, and suffer nothing. But me- I just like options, and a little more certainty that I can do what I want.

I thought unflavored was going away too??? Leaving just tobacco.

Never thought of it that way. But it seems the narrative is to remove all flavors except tobacco. So technically, that would mean unflavored would remain. But who knows how the bans will ultimately be written. Not sure about the ones that have already done it. Someone here will know. And I never thought of it until this moment, but do many companies sell an unflavored juice? Pods? Seems I saw Halo selling an unflavored, but I never saw an unflavored pod.

No idea about pods. I know Mt Baker and a few others sold it back before I went diy. But, the cost of unflavored juice is a huge amount more than just buying base or making your own. I want to say it was around $20 for 240ml.

    Things are happening very quickly.

Like my dear old dad used to say: Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

My buying has not been frenzied at all - more like prudent. I have spent a few hundred bucks on nic that may outlive me, but I am firmly entrenched in DIY and hope to use it all.

And as bad as the localized bans are, I remember distinctly when major credit cards would no longer process on-line tobacco sales. I also see big box stores electing to pull select guns and ammo from their inventory. There are other variables than can come into play overnight. That, to me is the real frenzy, with no thoughtful consideration whatsoever. It can get worse very quickly.

To each their own, and I am much more comfortable today than I was a couple of weeks ago.

Exactly, it is not difficult and you know exactly what does in there. I only want diy :)
I'll get jacked up when I start mixing flavors that are even half OK. Not there yet. But I'll be tryin. DIY is a slow process. Mix, wait, vape.

I mix and vape, I never steep my juices, but if you put the bottles in a warm water bath, they steep faster :)
