Cotton Candy is just a sweetener ... not a flavor.
You can mix it up if you have a real sweet tooth.
It would be the same as eating cotton candy at the fair.
It's used mostly two ways.
A small amount like .5-1% added to a recipe will give it moisture and take a sharp edge off but really doesn't sweeten.
Used mainly to blend the flavors together.
A larger amount is used to add sweetness .. like 3-4 %, but there are a lot better sweeteners out there.
There's a Cotton Candy, and a Cotton Candy -Circus .. not much difference.
Cotton Candy is just Ethyl crystals (a sugar alcohol) dissolved in PG.
Very useful, but not a flavor.

what's your favorite TFA flavor or mix that you feel dont need steeping or not much at all?

Pomegaranate 8%
Black currant 7%
Lemon 1.5 %
Tnt
Juicy peach 7%
Strawberry 6%
Apple 6%
No steeping just a vigorous shake...
Most of the fruit flavor dont need steeping, but the vanilla, caramel and others do need steeping.... If u read all the post its mentioned numerous times

Juicey Peach is one TFA fruit that stands out imo.
btw I mixed a lot of fruit flavors with Sweet Cream and it doesn't seem to need steeping either... i like it a lot better than Whipped Cream, but it has a cafe taste if you go over 8 or 9%... which may be good for coffee, bakery, or what, but i like it with fruit to smooth or round out the flavor.

Is there anyone who can reach out a hand for me and my maple flavor? ( not maple syrup)
I bought this one to mix with tobacco's and I made a small test batch @5% but I can only slightly taste a mild sweet caramelic sort of taste, its not bad but not strong enough it seems to me.
I am afraid I over flavored it already? Or maybe not and I should add some more flavor?

Some flavors are weaker than others, and can need up to 15%
They also vary company to company.
I would say you need to add more.
Depending on if you want it up front, or more in the background it's up to you.
But .. I would say, if it's "faint", and you want it stronger ..add more.
If it's a weaker flavoring, like Flavor West flavorings are, you can use a lot more.
Start with adding another drop, (one at a time) until it tastes the way you want it to.
Also, be aware of the fact that a lot of flavorings require steeping.
It may show up, and taste totally different after a few weeks of steeping with the recipe at 5%.
It does take a lot of experimenting, but all in all 5% is not an "overdose" and you can add more.
I see you only have 14 post, so if you are new to vaping, remember that your taste buds are in the process of returning for the first few months, and what you taste now will change too.
Some juices you hate now, you will love later, and visa versa.
So don't throw out any bottles of juice until you both have had a few months time on ya.
There is no "for sure" answer.
It all depends on the flavoring , your taste buds, and the steeping time.
But the journey is fun, and a learning experience.
20% flavoring in a recipe with combined ...or single flavors is about the stopping point for everyone.
Some are sensitive enough that a much lower % works fine, and a few use more than 20%
You just have to find what works best for you.
I would either give it more time as is ( if it's fresh), and then add some more and let it steep again.
Then try it, and keep doing that until you get what you want.
A tobacco flavor by it's self, take 4 weeks of being in the dark and being shaken daily to mature.
Fruits are the only flavorings you can mix that are usually good right away.

I've been mixing a little here and there using mostly TFA flavors. I got some mango to use as a stand alone flavor, but at 10% I can't seem to taste anything. Anyone have good mango recipes?
Also I would like to try and make some caramel cappuccino for my dad, and ordered a small 8ml bottle from wizardlabs. Looking at the percentages, it says to use 2 drops of caramel cappuccino per 10ml. Is that correct or should it be 2%?

They are "Drops" and I would start with one drop per 10ml.... Very strong stuff.
I've had success mixing 7% Juicy Peach with 6% Mango @ 70/30. On the CC, start with the 2 drops or 1.., you can always add some, but that stuff is crazy strong as cubfanthad said. Good luck!
Was wondering if anyone has had success with the TFA sour flavor? if so what percentage used? I'm trying to add sour taste to lemonade

I just dissolve citric acid in PG and add to taste, it does the job for me could also be killing me slowly too. Sorry can't help you with TFA sour though I suspect its the same.
I use about seven drops of sour in my lemon tobacco menthol that I've been making. That's in a 6ml bottle. I tried ten but it was too much for me.
Yes that is 2 drops per 10ml, and frankly I find that to be too strong. My last mix of CC was 4 drops in 50ml and that was still a little strong to me.
I haven't found my sweet spot with CC yet but it will involve diluting the flavoring 50% or more in PG and then figuring out the drops needed.
When I ordered it from Wizzard Labs I accidentally ordered two 8ml vials and I will probably never have to order this flavor again, seriously, it's that strong.
damn I didn't think it would be that strong. I guess the 8ml should last awhile. Since I ordered the small 8ml bottle, it has a lid, but not like a dripper styled cap. So im using the plastic pipettes that came with the order. Do you think these pipettes have bigger drops than normal? I hope I am wording it correctly. English is not my first language.
I like the caramel cap with two drops but I like strong flavor. I bought a 30ml bottle that will last me two lifetimes.
how long do you normally steep the caramel cappuccino? I made a 10ml batch with 1 drop yesterday, tried a little in my dripper and it taste like burnt popcorn. will it get better with more steep time, or did I already mess it up?
