I like it at 7% if I plan on letting it steep. Letting it steep will enhance and change the flavor. If you can control yourself, letting it steep 3-4 weeks it becomes even better. (the caramel notes come out more)

I have FINALLY tried RY4 double after hearing everyone rave about it for so long...Me and Bob_M met up today and mixed up a batch and we both agree it is EXCELLENT.

I made this first batch at 10%. Its good for the first few hits then it fades. I think 15% would be better. I made it at 50/50 24mg for me and 12mg for him. The caramel notes are excellent! It needs more though. I think next time I will bump it to 13% with some caramel original.

Agreed! Second! YES!

Ok, I mix mine low, most of my flavors I like a weaker flavor rather than being punched in the face with flavor, but I still like to know I am tasting something. After many attempts and failed bottles I have come to this: I am using 5% RY4 Double and 1% EM and letting it steep 3 weeks before I touch it. any time I think about it I go to the cabinet where I steep my juices and give all the ones waitig a good vigorous shake.

Now, on the topic of RY4 flavors, has anyone else noticed after a LONG steep (more than 2 months) that is begins to develop almost a slight coconut tone to it? I think this is due to the flavors that are in RY4 finally coming out to their full potential, it could also be my taste buds playing tricks on me. Has anyone else noticed this? Or am I just crazy? Could this possibly be a strange side effect of using EM? I do think that the EM brings out the vanilla a little more. it seems that in batched without EM vs batches with it, after a nice long steep I get a more blended vanilla note. Just looking for thoughts on this.

Also another recipe
Blueberry freeze:
5% Blueberry Xtra
1% Koolada
Steep it long dark and cool

I find Blueberry Xtra to be a strong flavor, but I know some like it strong, so if you are already using it at a higher percentage just try adding Koolada to it.

Fantastic thread full of very useful info, many thanks to all involved. I read the whole thing! I noticed a lack of espresso. As I have some on the way, I would like some clue as to what it's strength is like. I don't really want to mess with making flavors all that much, but I had a little room in the shopping cart from RTS to get up to free shipping and thought I might stick my foot in the water. I have chocolate, espresso, and DK Tab (555) on the way. If nobody has experience with the espresso, I will start with a drop or two and see how it goes. I like my coffee black with no sugar, but I probably should have bought some sweetener for my juice, or maybe the chocolate is sweet already?

Also, it's been a few pages, somebody bump this booty!

It's been long time since the flavor list was re-posted. Somebody get on that! Still need an answer to my question re: TFA espresso. Any experiences with TFA espresso? That's the only one I have (on the way) that I don't know what to do with, there a few others that I am interested in that have not been reviewed yet. I will be making juice for a friend, and he wants bacon. I think it sounds weird, but having no clue as to how to mix it could make even weirder.

Speaking of all the bacon love out there (TV shows devoted to it), a few thousand TV commercials have made me ask, 'when are they going to make a cool ranch?'. JK(?)

Seriously, TFA espresso, what the concentration recommendations? Also, BUMP!

I vape it alone at 10%. Tried it w/ a drop of menthol as I've heard that it can enhance fruit flavors... and I don't care for it. I like it by itself.

actually it is koolada that is recommended to enhance fruit and mint flavors. While it is used in higher quantities in "ice" type menthol eliquids, a single drop in a 5 to 10 ml bottle will enhance the citrus like aspects of fruit flavors.

Anyone have any recommendations for making a great fruit vape out of TPA only ingredients. I have most of their basic fruit flavors. If its any guide I would love to make a flavor like copper creeks pear, passion fruit, or peach. I have already tried juicy peach and pear as stand alone vapes and while both are decent, neither one is cutting it for me. I also got some sour 20% in today so maybe I need to add some of it to make things pop?

So, a recipe for a fruit vape that is not candy like?

Try it at 17%
It is best in the 15-20% range

Look at the chart bro.

I like to take the numbers from the chart and start slightly lower.

I made a batch on march 27 at 14% and was disappointed, not nearly as nice as i remembered. i tried it again this morning and it was much better so I'm thinking that the steeping helped.
