Try it at 17%
It is best in the 15-20% range

Look at the chart bro.

I like to take the numbers from the chart and start slightly lower.

I think I just have oddball taste buds. I couldn't taste anything with the 2% 4% 6% 8% or 10% bottles, and the 12% 14% 16% 18% 20% had nothing but that diacetyl butter taste to me. I was bummed....:(

I agree... Make it, Shake it, vape it.

Does this ripe banana taste like a real banana, I have tasted several banana flavors (mixed already from different vendors) and all of them taste like banana candy. I'm not a fan, though I love bananas and keep looking for one that tastes "real".

The TPA Banana also tastes like banana candies, so I guess your search will unfortunately have to go on.

Does anyone happen to have a starting point for TFA Creme de Menthe? I ordered some to make a sort of Andes mint type juice but forgot the chocolate so I figure I'll make a straight creme de menthe for now but don't want to start way too high.

And to add to some already on the list.

Absinthe - 5% is pretty strong to me, no way I could have started it at the listed 10%. An additional ~5% TFA grape juice makes for a nice grape'ish absinthe vape, but I would imagine that knocks my absinthe % to 4 or a little less.

Spearmint - WAY strong...took the advice from here to start under 5%, went with 4%...still WAY too strong. Added unflavored nic base until I ended up around 2 - 2.5% with a little koolada mixed in and it's a lot better but still a bit on the overpowering side.

Has anyone tried both the Chocolate and the Double Chocolate? If so I would love to hear how they differ. I am considering mixing one of the two with banana nut bread, but am unsure which route to go on that.

I've only tried the Double Chocolate, so I can't tell you how they're different. I can tell you that the Double Chocolate is a lot like chocolate cake, although not terribly sweet at all.

The thing bout chocolate is- You need to add a lot of vanilla flavor to make the juice taste natural.
Try 8-10% Double chocolate clear with 10-15% vanillin and a touch of ethyl maltol(1-2%). :)

I was thinking of mixing it with banana nut bread

Purely, just read about vanillin. Never heard of that. How would you explain it? Sweet?

Does anyone happen to have a starting point for TFA Creme de Menthe?

I made Creme de Menthe at 7% and that came out plenty flavorful for me. You could probably even go 5% to begin. I thought it actually tasted pretty true to the name. But not having been a menthol smoker (in the past), the mint taste didn't appeal to me. My friend, who also never smoked menthol cigs, LOVED it.

Hi guys, just a quick question for RY4 Asian. If I buy it can it be used as a stand alone? I saw the usual ratio is 10-15%, but I'm just starting diy and I wont be having other flavors to add to the recipe.
I find the flavor great as stand-alone. 8% is what I like. I find it does change with steeping.
