Yeah, the one i went to had a large selection of Wilton's and Lorann's.Between these 2 brands, they took up one side of a long isle in the center of the store.I have only been in there a couple times, but i could definitely see myself spending way too much there haha.I went the first time because they sell some nice wood plaques, and i wanted to pick up a couple to make my vape stand with,i found the flavors by accident that day, since i wasn't looking for those.I seen alot of different types ofthings i could for different projects there,so yeah definitely a place i can't go to very often haha.

Oooooooooooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.......................:offtopic::offtopic::offtopic:

So I did some investigation while I was out today about these big bottles of flav's. Yes, I realize this is WHOLLY off topic, but in the name of safety for not only the humans, but equipment, I thought I would share.

Those bottles of LorAnn flavoring that you speak of probably are the emulsions. And probably look like this:

FL0700-RED.jpg

This is the ingredient list: Ingredients: Water, propylene glycol, red 40, xanthan gum, ethyl alcohol (alcohol less than 1%), hydrogenated soybean oil, blue #1

Please, correct me if I am wrong people--but not only does this look like it'd become a sticky mess on your coils fairly fast, but probably not real STV with the soybean oil and such.

Again, I know I'm COMPLETELY :offtopic::offtopic: But to me, its a safety thing. I don't want to see anyone get hurt.....

OH NO! That was one of three recipe's on my list to start off with. Let me know what fruit flavor you try next to use to replace it

I finally got around to trying pink starburst, key lime pie,a pecan pie flavor i got in trade, and the orange creamsickle recipe that's posted somewhere else on here.

Key lime pie is a definite keeper very good.

The pecan pie flavoring i got,is very close to the most horrid thingi have ever tasted haha.

The orange creamsickle,i think is probably a really good recipe, without the addition i made to it haha.I seen alot of people saying the orange is very faint in this one,and i want a fairly strong orange note it,so what do i do,i added 2% sweet tangerine to it,thinking it should help bump the orange taste,it now tastes like cream with orange peel haha.I'm going to order the mandarin orange flavor, and remake the mix with that instead.

Now for the pink starburst, this is the first recipe by Bill that i dont care for.Don't get me wrong it's a good recipe and i'm glad i made it as it helped me realize 2 things.First thing is i really dont like artificial strawberry flavoring.I had used the strawberry ripe in the past and didn't like it,tried capella sweet strawberry and really didn't like that, and now this strawberry,so it is definitely not a flavor i will use in any mixes anymore.Second thing i realized from this,is that several recipes i made in the past seemed overall good, but they all had that really bad off taste that i could never pinpoint, well guess what, every one of those had a strawberry in them somewhere, even if it was just a very small percent that you could not even taste,my tastebuds picked up on that off taste that i got today.
Although all is not lost,i am going to use the starburst recipe, but replace the strawberry with cherry, another with lemon, etc. i'll just have to play with the percentages for the different fruits, but should'nt be too difficult since Bill gave us a good foundation to start with.

I'll be doing some mixing tonight,so i'll give this one a try. It's hard to find a good fruity type recipe that doesn't involve strawberry, plus i have the mango and have never tried it yet,so this sounds like a good oppurtunity.

My go-to juice has been entirely fruit-based, with a rather limited pantry. Aside from Sweetener and Cotton Candy/EM, my two only involve Raspberry (Sweet), Blackberry, Grape Candy, and Champagne.

Unnamed 1:
5% Raspberry
10% Blackberry
10% Champagne
And I've found that 2.5% each of Sweetener and Cotton Candy do nicely, but it's probably the "sweeten to taste" deal. I honestly can't say what champagne adds to the mix; this was just thrown together for kicks, but it suits me.

Unnamed 2:
10% Grape Candy
5% Raspberry (sweet)
And again, 2.5% each Sweetener and Cotton Candy

I've posted these before, or at least something very similar to the first one, but I thought I'd throw 'em out again. I can't contribute much, but these are the mixes I've made that I actually liked. Not too sophisticated, but only 4 flavors necessary for both of them. I know what I'll be ordering in 4oz bottles without a question :2cool:

ETA: I just vaped some after eating buttered bread... goodness me is Bill on to something with adding dairy to fruit. It tasted far better than usual. I can't wait to order some creams and vanillas!

what is this 100 drop test?
Yup can do a test batch of any mix to see if it needs to be tweaked or not 100 drops for 100% of a mix. 1 drop 1 %. That way you don't spend a lot of time and juice making stuff you don't like. If you don't like the first, change %s and remix a new 100 drop test batch. Test, mix, till you get it the way you like it then make a big batch and your good to go!

so are you saying 100 drops including the PG and VG?

Actually, I'm starting to wonder about that champagne because of your posts. See.... I want to "fizz" up something. But I'm not sure how to do it. We have a B&M here that has a Vanilla Cola that is ok as far as taste, but you SWEAR that you can feel the carbonation! I have a great idea for something, but I'm not sure where that darn fizzy feel comes from.

I wonder if the champagne will do that! :pop:

Good job! I hate when I have stuff in my head and can't put it in to words.... Then again, I'm not 25 anymore either LOL

I personally can't figure out the champagne. I tried it solo, and it wasn't unpleasant, but it reminded me personally of sort of a dull white wine (in the sense that it wasn't 'bright', or not 'crisp'). I also haven't subtracted it from that mix (though I may do 100 drops without it, out of curiosity). I personally didn't get fizziness, but I believe someone else said it may have a bit of it. It wasn't a bad flavor by any means, but I just can't figure it out. It reminds me of white wine, but not in any easily-explainable way. But, you should definitely try it for cheap! If nothing else, you can try 50% of the juice I've made and liked :p

I find the grape candy to have more of a fizzy sensation, although it's also a tad harsh, despite being alcohol free. There are a lot of things about juice-making I don't understand, and "how flavors containing alcohol" affect a mix is one of those things.

I'm a huge fan of "fizz" myself, let me know if you find it!

Don't take my word on it by any means,if you like vaping strawberry flavors, you will most likely really like that one,i haven't found any juice with strawberry that i like.I didn't get a chance to mix anything tonight like i had planned, but will be doing some tommorow.I think that recipe will be good subbing in lemon, which i wont have my lemon until monday, but i also think it will be very good with cherry, which is one i will be making tommorow, also like Bill mentioned,it may be great with grape too.

Hey Reni,i have seen those bottles like you posted a pic of,and i think that is the same red velvet one i was thinking of,but i believe the cream cheese icing one i seen looked different from that.If i'm out tommorow,i plan on stopping by walmart,so if i get there,i will check, hopefully it will be just the flavoring, since that's why i plan to go there,i hate going in that store,so i dont go any more than i need to haha.

Hey readeuler, those sound pretty good too,and surprisingly i actually have all the flavors for the first one, that doesn't happen very often haha.I will try that out tommorow, thanks.

Heya Bill. Ok, cool. Maybe take a pic? I know that they do 1oz. regular flavs, but I didn't want someone vaping something that would hurt them or their equipment!!!

I'm starting to play with this flavor and incorporating it now into recipes. A perfect flavoring for my needs for sure. Love French vanilla the best.....and a cream! Count me in! :vapor:

The whole idea of it, makes me hungry LOL For those who order elsewhere than directly through TFA, here is the description of the flavor we are discussing:

French Vanilla Creme

This flavor is our French Vanilla Deluxe re-worked to contain no Acetoin or Acetyl Propionyl (no Diketones). It is a rich vanilla flavor with a creamy taste.

Like Bill says, COUNT ME IN!!!!!!!!!
