This is what I have been working on. A tasty treat fudge, caramel and toasted coconut-covered cookies. Known as the girl scout cookie called Samoas.

All TFA flavors except for the cookie since TFA don't have that flavor I used FA. Any input on using TFA for the cookie would help.

Samoas

60PG/40VG

Cookie FA 2.5%
TFA Cocunut 5%
TFA Vanilla Swirl - 4%
TFA Fudge Brownie 2%
TFA Sweetner 3%
TFA Bavarian Cream 3%
TFA Caramel (o) 4%

made 10 mls

I'm vaping it right now, right after mixing. You pro out that please input on anything you see I might change add/minus

Some thoughts about the cookie part. Waffle and graham cracker, what do you think?

My thoughts? My thoughts are I think I just gained 15 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds delectable!

HA! Finally got my bridgeless attys today so that I can quick test ANYTHING (instead of doing what I've been doing, which means I'm washing tanks every 5 seconds and attempting to speed dry them with the hair dryer while my hubby sleeps LOL).

:offtopic:

While I'm off topic....Someone was kind enough to bring me some Apple from "another" company. But I haven't any ideas for it. Can anyone help me here with an idea for apple? My first thought (because I have Caramel) was caramel apple. But honestly, I don't know where to start with that one :/

Which bridgeless attys do you order, I need to get a better way of testing too

My LorAnn order arrived. That means Cream Cheese Icing. Opened the bottle and smelled. Oh, baby! This is going to work in danishes and cakes just fine. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm already thinking about a 16 oz bottle. Though I've been under the weather this week, I am going to try some mixes today with this little jewel. If it tastes anything like it smells, it's a winner!

Firstly, I hope you feel up to par soon Bill. Take that decent weather you've been having and make it work for ya! (Or, you can come out here where it has been snowing 500 ft above us lol)

I really can't wait to hear about the Cream Cheese Icing. I've been holding off doing anything similar until seeing the results. This also will give a bit of time the ability to pass so I can grab these things locally (the closer to the holidays-the easier to get local ;) )

Thanks Mom!

Got in the Vape Lab for a mix or two. I wanted to try the Lemon Cake with icing, as Bill suggested. I tried this with several different strengths on the icing, and found that 4% was perfect, because if I used more, I had to drop the creams too much, which made the mix feel a little thin and not as cake like. So, here's where I ended up:

Lemon Cake with Icing:

FW Yellow Cake - 7%
Lemon - 10%
Cotton Candy - 5%
LA Cream Cheese Icing - 4%
Bavarian Cream - 2%
Sweet Cream - 2%

The icing is not overwhelming in this mix, nor was it too sweet for me. I simply taste yellow cake with Lemon icing, or perhaps, lemon cake with cream cheese icing. Either way, it's very good, and adds some kick to the yellow cake. Want to thank Bill for this idea. Works like a charm. This is a solid ADV. Good luck! :toast:

Edit: Also, this works best with a little less heat than I normally use. It's delicate flavorings don't need a super high temperature, and the lower wattage brings out the subtle flavors a bit more, I think. :D

I placed another order with WL last night/early this morning. Originally was going to order through ECX (they have 10ml/1.99) but didn't have a couple of flavors I wanted.

Ordered what I've wanted to play around with trying out recipes, and a bunch of new stuff I've seen on TFA website. I've been ordering bulk from TFA, but their smaller sizes are so expensive.

I'm really hoping the mint candy flavor I picked up works. I have yet to create a bearable mint flavor. Hopefully this really is like the mint pinwheel.

Jim, to me it is like the pinwheel. I use it alone at 2%.

That's real close to what I had. I didn't cut the BC though. And I was one % less on the CC Icing. I'll try your read on it next batch!!!

Oh, and try a touch in the cinnamon danish too!

I have been doing some reading about flavorings. I noticed that some juices taste good on my MVP and IGO-L but when they are in a Stingray X and Plume Veil around .3 or .4 that they taste muted, or that certain flavorings seem to disappear totally. I saw Bill mention this a few pages back also. It didn't seem to make sense at first, because since you are inhaling more vapor, you should also be tasting more of the flavoring. That does seem to be true in some cases, but at other times the flavor is ruined.

I think I found out why. Basically, a lot of these flavoring molecules are destroyed by heat. I read about how essential oils are made ,which are used heavily in flavorings, and a lot of the methods (steam distillation, cold pressing and solvent extraction) used to create the oils are designed to minimize heat, because some flavors are delicate and too much heat will ruin them.

So, some juices will just not taste right in RDAs with really hot builds in them. Adding more flavoring may not fix it either. The best solution imo is to lower the heat flux (basically, the power per square mm) of the build. The steam engine calculator along with a few others will show you this number. Easy way to lower it is to just use lower gauge wire at the same resistance. A 22 gauge micro coil is going to run cooler than a 26 gauge dual parallel simply because the heavier wire can "hold" more heat than the thinner wire.

I ordered these (In chrome). Stick a few drops in, a drip tip and off you go! This was actually recommended by another user on this forum and I must thank her ;) She knows who she is!

5 Pcs GS-Bridgeless 3-Hole Colorful Electronic Cigarette Atomizer - Random Color

I think you can find them on this site a lil cheaper too. It was just the first link I could find hahahaha Most shops carry them as well, but they are about $5 each (LAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE). It took me only 9 days to get my order from China. I have no complaints.

I made up a small 10ml bottle of Bill's pink starburst this morning before heading to the office.can't wait to try it :)

As I am oft wont to do, I tasted the liquid and I think I may have over-sweetened it. I don't have cotton candy but I do have EM solution (10% in pg) and boy is it sweet! I think my solution is way stronger than the tfa flavor concentrate but I won't know until I rewick my atty...
