It's when you want a lot of one flavor and just a touch of the other that can get trcky. How I do it is say I want 60% one flavor and 40% of the other. On paper I take that flavors mix and see how much 60% of the total would be on a btottle of just that flavor and add that. Then do 40% of a total mix of the other and add that. Then I have a 60/40 mix.

Ok, quick question. I see that all the flavors have flavor percentages that make them best suited for vaping. What if you are using 2-3 different flavors though??

Flavor 1 is rated at 5%
Flavor 2 is rated at 10%

Would you use 15%? Or less of each to equal around the middle like 8% total flavor.
How would one go about mixing the two flavors?
Apologize if this has already been covered and I missed it.

flavor 1 is 5% of the total volume
flavor 2 is 10% of the total volume for a total flavoring of 15%.

So if you are looking for an 8% flavoring, the combined %'s would total 8% of the total volume. 6% 0f #1, 2% 0f #2, 4% of #1 and 4% of #2, etc.

You need to find the % of each flavor ( of total volume ) that tastes right then combine from there. don't get wrapped up in the total % to much. Each flavor has its own % for tasting right to you.

You of course could ballpark it thinking, say, you want a chocolate coffee. So then you might have 10% chocolate ( if thats where you like it ) and 5% coffee ( if thats where you like it ) thinking the chocolate would be dominant. But you never know, flavors react to each other in funny ways.

EDIT:
But if you are talking premixed flavors, thats another story. 60% Happy Harry's "555" and 40% Sweet Mary's "Jungle Mist". But thats not what we're talking about here.

RY4 regular and double have different notes to them. Not sure why it's called double because honestly, I don't think they taste anything alike. I will say that I have both and like both. Differences, to me, are that RY4 I can vape immediately, while RY4 I don't like until it steeps for at least a week. Also, ry4 double is sweeter to me and has more dimension it its flavor. The stuff is cheap, I would get both and see for yourself. I've already repurchased both flavors. Wizard Labs has the best price for the amount you get. (if it's in stock)

I may have missed it but what is the difference of RY4 1 and RY4 double....just double the flavor??

Also any opinions on how good it is?

I have not but I want to. I like gingerbread and nutmeg in general... Just never bit the bullet and got any. Please report back if you try this.

Has anyone tried the Holiday Spice I didn't see it mentioned in the 39 pages I just read. Its supposed to be mostly nutmeg I don't think this would be a good stand alone flavor, but should add some good undertones. I do have some coming.

I will definitely get around to the holiday spice the problem I'm having right now is I ordered so many flavors that I don't know what I want to try first. I think I'm going to jump in the deep end and try and make some Mango Pudding.

Everyone has their own methods...what I might do is mix up a bottle of flavor 1 (10ml @5%), and another bottle of flavor 2 (10ml @10%). Make sure each doesn't seem too overpowering. Then try a smaller sample using each of these pre-mixed flavors. 1/2 ml of flavor 1 blended + 1/2 ml of flavor 2 blended = 2.5% flavor 1, 5% flavor 2. Adjust next batch (experiment) according to taste.

Most times, one of the flavors will overpower the other, so I will wind up with a 'main' flavor nearly at the recommended percentage, and an 'accent' flavor quite a bit less.

Thank you for this thread. I read all the way through in one sitting and found much good information.

The #1 answer was to my coffee failures - Butter Taste - I now know NOT to use sweet cream in coffee mixes.

Now if I can just figure out a simple good - coffee/cream/sugar mix

Oh, man... Me, too. Sweet cream=fake butter taste. It doesn't seem to matter the amount.

Thanks for your post. I'm not alone after all.

Yes! After banging around for nearly 5 weeks with multiple failures, the percentages are very high.

Cappuccino isn't on the list yet. I just made another disaster with Cappuccino at 8% and it's ridiculous nasty. I'll try again at 4% and come back with results. The Cappuccino at 8% is total smoke flavor - or burned something...

I've noticed almost all the Coffee-esque flavors do better at lower percentages... but, that's my tastebud's opinions...I tend to like the coffee vapes, but using them at the percentages given as a baseline seemed a bit too high to me as well. Good luck with the lower percentage Capp!

Heck, even some of the tobacco percentages seem a bit strong for me, but I have a chef's pallete (which helps, since I am a sous chef :p) I'm still trying to dial in on the D-RY4 percentage.

I've had decent luck at a meager 5% on the DRY4, but its lacking something.
As always, YMMV.
