Here's my tobacco absolute (pure)

It's mostly sediment! Is this just how it is?

It is NOT supposed to look like that.

TA is a black tar-like substance. I don't know what you got there.

I made my first attempt at DIY today. I figured I would start with all single flavor recipes to start. And was wondering since they are single flavors do they require steep time, and if so how much? I am guessing at least a little would do some good.

I started with 50mg 50/50 nic juice, with my target being 18mg.
My final juice target was 50/50, also.
I got My flavor percentages from a combination of this thread and reviews from TPA/TFA web site.
I did use eJuice Me Up for calculations, and saved each recipe.
I made the following flavors: Clove, Pizza, Cola, Cotton Candy, Bubble Gum, Green Apple and Peanut Butter.

I made 5ml batches of each.

Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks

It really depends on the flavour.
I recently got some black cherry from TFA and it needed to steep for almost a week to lessen the purfumy taste, I also have some root beer that i have not mixed up yet, but have heard it needs to steep awhile also. then i have blueberry and watermelon from TFA also and i can vape them immediately.

the best thing is to just try it out, and having a dripping atomizer is a great tool for this, that way you don't have to fill up a tank only to find out it isn't ready.

I don't have a drip atty yet, but it is the very next thing one my list.
I did plan ahead, I have plenty of pre-made juice on hand. So if I am happy with these mixes, I can make a bigger batch I'm thinking 30ml a pop. And still have time to steep them since they will be a larger a batch, it will need more time. In the mean time I'll just do the shake and wait with the juices I have made so far, and begin looking into what drip atty I would want.

Does anyone think Dulce De Leche is any good by itself? Or maybe mix it with Caramel original?

Dulce De Leche is a flavor i keep on hand for adding to RY4 recipes or something.Dulce is a strong flavor and i am not sure if it would make a stand alone at least for me.Remember taste is subjective what i like, you might hate as a flavor.

My rule of thumb for test batches is 10min. per ml. So, in your case, 50min. If you made 3, 5ml batches it would still be 50min.

I haven't tried mine yet but i have tried some pre-made (from two different vendors) it's not like chewing on a hot slice. But does have a pizza-like flavor.

I kinda figured small batch, single flavors wouldn't need much time, I wasn't thinking that quick, but DIY is completely new to me. It's been over 24 hours now so maybe i'll give a few the ole' taste test.
