ItTechy - thanks for your (and Bill's) efforts on updating the recipes. Just snagged them from the dropbox....
Yes, lots of live and learn in diy....I used to be like slots and mix a bunch one day and let age/cure/steep, ran out of juice and had to mix and vape, was surprised the 13-20% mixes vape well enough in 1 day after warm bath and nice shake....for me(i stress this statement), I do tend to do things a little different, sometimes out of necessity. My ways don't work for everyone, I'll be the first to admit it, but work for me well enough....good luck, and yeah, mixing when tired/distracted....ughhh, been there, done that too, even having things prepped and organized prior....if my brain Isn't firing on all cylinders....oh dear...

And when your spouse is talking and insists that you pay attention... best to just leave the mixing alone until he is DONE.I was mixing up my strawberry & cream one day when this happened... and ended up with twice as much Dx bavarian as it needed... which forced me to double the recipe. It came out *ok* but not great. Now if he starts talking to me when I'm trying to mix, I turn around completely from the mixing and let him know a) he has my undivided attention, and b) he is INTERRUPTING me, so hurry up and spit it out and go away!
(don't go away mad... just GO AWAY!)

Luckily my spouse and I never have this problem, even if the roles are reversed.
She does not vape, and gave up smoking over 25 years ago, and never looked back, just stopped one day!
We do however have an immense amount of respect for each other, realizing we have our own lives and hobbies aside from our life together.
I guess I'm , we're pretty fortunate this way, and I certainly don't take it for granted!
I haven't a clue how one goes about such an issue in their personal life, but it all goes back to mutual respect for each other and realizing you are both individuals....
IMHO....![]()
Yeah we've never lived in each other's pocket; he does his thing and I do mine, it just annoys me when he KEEPS talking to me, when he can clearly see that I'm occupied -- that day it happened, it wasn't even anything important, just something stupid one of his idiot co-workers said. If it had been something I actually cared about, I would have turned around when he started talking, but since it was completely inconsequential, and then caused me to mess up the mixing, THAT really annoyed me. So now if I'm mixing and he commences chattering at me, I turn around and give him the "hurry up already!" look. He gets just as annoyed with me when he's trying to play with his coin collection, and I talk to him -- except, he's not likely to mess up a recipe when playing with COINS!
If he ever did this to me when I was cooking, he'd soon understand why distracting the cook is a BAD idea!

Yeah I understand completely...did a lot of studying of relationships, male vs female paridigms, etc.
"Some men just don't get it'!
One thing we do have that's unique is that we listen to each other and give each other feedback, we also know when NOT to talk to each other...LOL
I'm an odd ball by most accounts...LOL....nah..ya' think!
Strangely, my husband "gets" me more than anyone else in the world ever has -- which is largely why I married him!But he's still a man, and so says stupid things like "don't cry, that won't help."
Yes as a matter of fact it DOES help! Tears are different chemically depending on what provoked them, so crying when you're very upset, yes it does help in very basic ways. Men typically shed so few, they would never realize this.

I mixed 18 recipes last night, and I had to laugh.Mixing today, was out of butterscotch, now Graham clear, white chocolate....time to order soon.

As I get done with each flavoring, I line them up according to company for putting away when I'm finished.
I think I had 1 CAP Vanilla Custard, a few LA's, about 7 FA's, some VZ, etc. ...and a TON of TFA.
Although I have some favorites from each company, the majority is turning out to be from TFA.
Just a few from the others, and I'm done ordering from CAP, with the exception of 2 or 3 flavors I like.

Andria says .... "THAT really annoyed me. So now if I'm mixing and he commences chattering at me, I turn around and give him the "hurry up already!" look."
I'm with ya Andria ... I do the same thing.
Hopefully he will get the message someday ... he's starting too, .. he knows "that Look", and is starting to say "OOoops, later"
Also glad to see you took my suggestion on the "Throat Hit" nic from VT, and it's working for you.
In turn, I took your suggestion on the Shisha Strawberry, lov'in it, (but can't go your 15%)
Just mixed some up last night with Bav Cream, and INW Biscuit
I've bought the flavoring in 4oz bottles, and threw it in the freezer, since my stupid state is trying to stop any buying of e-cig supplies over the web.
Yes, (any) flavoring is just one of the supplies on their list ... but we can buy the "other stuff" here
Buying flavoring will probably get shot down, but I'm not one to take chances![]()
