Thanks, I am excited and nervous at the same time....that is a lot of money I could have spent on vendor juice if this doesn't pan out for me but I have to think positive....I think I can...I think I can....lol
I prefer plastic only because I hate the drippers that the glass bottles use. I drip 99% of the time and those Yorker spouts are easy peasy to use to fill other bottles or drip etc.... Although I may find glass to be easier to work with.
I recommend that you store juice in glass and use a plastic bottle for dripping. Works great for me. Plastic leaches into the juice over time, and is particularly difficult with tank cracker flavorings, i.e., much greater leaching. With glass, the dark colored glass is best. I prefer the amber as they are less expensive, though the cobalt blue is very attractive, but higher priced. Amazon Prime has some pretty great prices on bottles in small quantities of ten or twelve. When I use plastic for samples, or what have you, you can't beat China prices of 50 bottles for less than $10 delivered (more or less, prices vary and change), but require about a three week delivery time. Also, the plastic spouts are nice and can be used with syringes, as well. MyFreedomSmokes has these bottles that can use the same spouts and needles for either bottles, or syringes, and can be purchased in quantities of one, or more. I find these bottles very helpful, compatible, they travel easy, and are not too expensive. Two cents.

As Sarge mentioned, build up your glassware over time. Re-agent bottles (wide mouth) are the way to go (eventually), as they provide a great seal, allow you to mix, aerate, and store the juice, and all of these items can be purchased on Amazon. Once the mad scientist mind-set kicks in, it's hard to resist building a vape lab, so good luck to you! Welcome aboard! :toast: :D

300 bucks used to buy me a month's worth of cigs. If you bought 4oz bottles that's about 40 bottles, which will make about 16,000 ml of juice. That's about a 4 year supply assuming you are dripping 10ml a day. And does not include nic or pg/veg base but that's the cheap part.

So you're way ahead of the game :)

Thanks! Will look up what a re-agent glass bottle is. I can buy a little each month. Just need to get some small plastic ones for testing first as all mine will be testing right now :) then get a handful of the 120ml for ones i like and once I get that established I can make larger volumes of the ones I like and put in glass bottles for storing . Thanks for all the tips, I need them and appreciate them! I think I might go to micheals and go ahead and get some small bottles from their paint section just so I can get started then order some from China to keep on hand. When buying plastic is LDPE the best?

See I'm feeling better already :). They are not all 4oz bottles but most of them are. I realized real quick this evening when I made a 60ml of the lucky charms juice I like that I need more VG and nic on hand :). I started with 500ml of Vg and 120ml of Vg based nic 100mg. It's a start :) I have a feeling I will spend a lot of time here. Thanks again!

Here are some reagent bottles: American Educational Flint Glass Wide Mouth Reagent Bottle with Ground Glass Stopper, Clear: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

Here are some glass bottles: 1 Oz (30 ml) BLUE Boston Round Glass Bottle w/ Cap - Pack of 12: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

YOu can find these for less in amber, and less in smaller bottles. Also, for storage, you really don't need dropper tops, and separate droppers work fine, perhaps better, anyway, like these: SEOH Glass Droppers Pipettes 4 inch pack of 12: Science Lab Dropping Pipettes: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

You'll use these all the time, and quite often use the whole batch in a session. Also, you can find the Chinese plastic bottles cheap here, as well: Amazon.com : Vktech Plastic Dropping Bottles, 30ml, 50 Pcs : Refillable Cosmetic Containers : Beauty in 30 mls, or 15 mils and U.S. shipped like these: Amazon.com : Uhome 2014 style 50pcs Empty plastic dropper bottle/Dropping Bottles(Drops of plug can removable)plastic bottle Eye Liquid Dropper (15ml) : Beauty Often better with Amazon Prime, btw.

So, shop around. I use Amazon a lot because returns are easy, hassle free, and practically instant (gift card), and they will pick them up at your door! In quantity, as I have purchased, you can reduce these prices by 2/3 or more, but you don't need these quantities at this point. Also, check out MFS. They have several luer lock bottles like these: 30ml Bottle with Blunt Nose Needle Dispensor - MyFreedomSmokes

These are my favorite for road trips as you can seal them, change the needle (14 gauge) or plastic tapered tips like these: Dispensing Needle, Plastic Tapered Beige 14 ga 0.063id x 1.25" Tip, 50 pcs: Science Lab Needles: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

MFS also has good deals on small quantities of plastic syringes. Check out their site. The prices for boxes of syringes is ridiculously low on Amazon, and even though you won't think you need a box of syringes, they are incredibly well priced compared to the single version prices. Worth checking out at least.

We could go on forever, and cover a lot more gear, but this will help you to think about the possibilities, and to consider what some experienced users like. Vape gear is so personal and so geared toward our personal preferences, that you will get many answers to the question(s) about "What do I need?" So, these are just that....suggestions....and represent my likes and dislikes. YMMV, as they do for so many others. I do like the MFS Luer Lock bottles A LOT! Check them out.

Store in Glass....Drip in Luer Lock cap plastic bottles. YMMV, but these are my recommendations. Good luck! :toast: :D

Got my order today, $300 worth of flavors.... I don't know what the heck I'm doing...lol. but going to give it my best shot. Why I got so many I don't know BUT every recipe I I looked at used a different flavor so figured better to have it on hand in case I see something I want to try. Still need to get bottles. I have a few but need more. I did follow a recipe for a lucky charms juice that is not too bad so I have hope.

For stuff that isn't going to leave the house, I find baby food jars to be great for mixing and short term storage. I use them a lot for medium sized batches to mix and let steep in before transferring to 15ml bottles.

Tis better to have a flavor on hand and not need it than to not have a flavor on hand and need it.
In other words, you CANNOT have too many flavors (regardless of what my wife tells me, lol).
That's my logic.

jpasint is right!

I'm on my third mortgage, and I sold the cattle for more flavors!

Actually it's all because of Bill, well Nic and Mom too!

If you guys wouldn't post so many GREAT recipes....

Remember: "Juice will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no Juice"! :thumb:

Morning Techy!!!!! I still have to go through my recipes....sorry, I'm unorganized.....getting ready for pa vape expo, researching to get my mom something-mvp3 vs I stick 30, I think one of these will suit her...mvp probably hold up better around horses and general abuse/wear-tear, we may be petite but need sturdy gear due to our jobs and hobbies. She needs a practically indestructible box without too many bells/whistles.

Mixed Wednesday....excited to sample at expo to see if I can get inspiration and distinguish flavors used....summer is coming, and here I am mixing peppermint bark cause I am craving it....I would think I'd be back on a fruit kick! Think next mix session will be "fruity"

I fully understand....

I went nutzo on the Starburst flavors, mixed up like 6 or more variations....

I don't eat ANY sweets or candy, but I will devour Starbursts! I have to purposely NOT, NEVER buy them, if I do, they're gone! They're like "can't say that on ECF" to me! LOL!

I love my family here, but the forums rulez sometimes really bug the shisnet out of me......GRRRRRRRRR!

Check out "Woot" they have daily deals and snap lid container sets are up there all the time!

They are now an Amazon company, VERY reputable, $5.00 flat shipping for 1 or 100 items!

Killer deals! They have been around forever, Amazon bought them out like a year and a half ago, but they have kept the same format!

Iowa is also the land of "Cows 'n' Corn", but I'm farther East. Indiana, actually, where 'kinidiots run our state.... Born and raised here. Lived in Missouri for about 5 years and then came back. Haven't budged since 1991.
